Overall very positive experience. Drinks and apps were ready promptly. Had to wait over 30 minutes for meals to come out (very busy night), but they were hot, fresh, and well worth the wait. This is one of my go to places on the west side, keep coming back and it keeps getting better each time!

I only return to a few restaurants in LA after the first visit and I'll have to add this to my list to return ! Not a single bad dish. Salmon tacos are my favorite and the queso is to die for. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately our experience with service was disappointing. Our waitress was inattentive. After taking our drink orders, it took 20 minutes before she returned to take our food order. Once placed, dishes came out slowly and one by one. We even received a second refill of our appetizer chips before our salad arrived, which shouldn’t take long to prepare.
When it came time to pay, she handed us the card reader but then yanked it out of my partner’s hand as soon as the transaction was complete in a way that felt rushed and aggressive. It left a very negative impression, to the point that we regretted having to tip at all.
What seemed to be the manager was also present but came across as distant and disengaged while walking the floor, which did not help the atmosphere of hospitality.

Super lovely Mia was our waitress. She was kind and thoughtful and even returned after taking our order, to offer option for us to add one item to our single order for 2, so all three at the table would get at least one. The courtesy was unexpected. Hard to find people who genuinely take care of their tables as Mia did with us. Would highly recommend. Food at Hermaito was excellent and creative.

I enjoyed my visit to Hermanito. The crispy fish taco with slaw was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
The service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive, which is why I didn’t give a full 5 stars. Overall, a solid experience with delicious food—I’d definitely come back and try more of the menu!

This place is amazing. Pricy but the food is incredible with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. With the pricing I expected small portions, but actually very large. Please do yourself a favor and try the charred octopus ensalada- huge portions of perfectly grilled, perfectly blackened octopus, warm potatoes, delicious chiles, and a wonderful crema with greens. Served with grilled half lemon that is the icing on the cake flavor -wise. Otherwise fantastic service, super attentive, great ambiance. Highly recommend this place.
