If you don’t pair your sweet treat with a coffee or matcha from Bastion then you are doing it wrong. Everything is delicious!!
My group shared a Guava Croissant and Pistachio BK Bun. We thought both were good. I think the croissant was decent (especially the crispy tips) but, I think the cream cheese was too thick for my taste since my throat felt a bit sore after eating slightly more than a fourth of the croissant. We tried the BK Bun after a day so it wasn't fresh but I liked it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was able to warm it up
loved the strawberry matcha! very nice staff
A solid coffee/matcha spot at the Grand Central Station.
I ordered a matcha latte hot with whole milk and it was delicious. The right temperature and the flavor was perfect. A solid breakfast drink. I tried their stuffed donut holes and a cookie of theirs. Both were delicious and with the coffee it was an excellent breakfast snack.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
There is no bakery in DTLA that comes close. Every single thing is delicious.
Mixed feelings. The pistachio croissant looked good, but really wasn't interesting at all. Coffee was fine. Staff friendly. Wouldn't go back.
Amazing Nutella Croissants! I went back for another one before my flight back home.
Visiting for work and happy to find this shop open early. I got a delicious Spanish latte, gingerbread bombolini and a guava and cheese croissant. Everything was fresh and flavorful, excellent friendly service. Not cheap but worth it.
I know these spiral croissants are a bit pricey but they are delicious. I tried the strawberry shortcake and pistachio bk buns and they did not disappoint. Hard not to want to try them all.
when i first came to la i was walking around the city lost and afraid. and i found myself in this magical area called grand central market. growing up in east la i have never seen such cultural diversity but i felt at home when i approached bastion coffee. i was greeted with such a warm smile all my fears disappeared. i ordered 2 mexican mochas and a cookie. much to my dismay the lady had charged me 3 mochas. my heart sank. i only had $20 for the day! she corrected it and i felt estática! she immediately apologized through colored hair and explained th…. nvm coffee was good.

I was so looking forward to a matcha latte only to be given an overpriced cup of watered down milk with a sprinkle of matcha powder DO NOT recommend!!!

What am I eating. Exotic cake is a mix of too many flavors and doesn’t mesh well. And I love all the fruits in there individually. BK Cakes are very stale croissants.
Try the Spanish latte, tastes good!
