Food was incredible. We had a 9:30pm res so the service was extra great because the restaurant Wasnt too busy. The hummus is other dips and breads are INSANE. Just like their other restaurants. The tuna tartare was so good as well as two mushroom things I had. I dont eat lamb but everyone seemed to love it. The deserts were also on point.
We have been looking forward to dining at Bavel for a LONG time. There was much anticipation for this scheduled dinner. However, the experience did not meet our expectations. 1. Service: We didn't feel like our waiter was genuinely interested in us. When the food came out, we noticed the server's finger was touching the corner of the hummus. 2. Ambiance: Loud, but overall pleasing decor 3. Food: This was what we were looking forward to the most. Unfortunately it did...
As a frequent contrarian, it is hard for me to compliment a restaurant that so many people won’t stop fawning over. However, Bavel is undeniably excellent and i must admit that the people are correct. Unique Israeli flavors and lesser known dishes from the levant that are so good you forget about Gaza - 🫣😅💃🏻🕺olé!
