As the name suggests.... It's pretty much their specialty. It's not the best, but it's pretty good for the price.

My favorite korean fried chicken in West LA. Great you don't have to travel to Korean town to have the authentic korean fried chicken.

The chicken is really very good. The reason I grade it 4 only is that their 'sides' are limited and not so good. I hope they read this and focus a bit on the side dishes, cuz the chicken formula is excellent.

I love this place! It has become a go-to for me and my boyfriend. We're going there for Valentine's Day. Yes, it's better to order on the phone about 30 minutes before you pick up the food, but that's because they make your order FRESH as soon as you order. You get a lot of chicken for the price. I always get the teri chicken (not spicy) and my boyfriend gets the fire teri chicken (spicy). It's SO delicious and always hits the spot. We've eaten there once or twice, but most of the time we bring it home to eat. The woman who I think is the owner was so sweet. One time, my boyfriend went up to the counter while I sat outside because we had a pit bull with us. She saw him outside and asked if we would like some chicken to give him. We excitedly said yes. She prepared chicken for him that didn't have any bones or sauce (we didn't even ask her to do that) so that it would be safer for him to eat, and then came outside to give it to him! We had never met this lady and this was probably only our second time eating there, by the way. I just love this hole in the wall.

Not worth it at its price point. First of all, highly recommend you phone in an order because they'll take almost 30 minutes making it on the spot. They have a bunch of chicken options with various numbers of pieces. You can get whole/half chicken, wings, or drumsticks. We ended up getting 3 half orders of chicken with 3 different sauces (original, sweet/sour, teriyaki). Compared to other fried chicken I've had in K-town and elsewhere, the chicken was quite underwhelming. The meat wasn't consistent. Some pieces dry, others slightly juicy. The fried skin also tasted very floury and dry. I didn't like the original chicken (without sauce) at all. It was also way too salty. Not sure what seasonings they use, but it was a bit much. My favorite had to be the teriyaki sauce with the sweetness balancing out the salty and somewhat dry chicken. Maybe their wings are better, but I wouldn't get the whole chicken. It's also more expensive. I'd understand if you are craving some Korean fried chicken and this is the closest place to get that fix, but I personally won't be coming back on my own accord.

Loooooong time to prepare the chicken, but it's totally worth the wait. They fry each piece perfectly, giving it a nice and juicy crunch (I had the original). Just make sure to be patient and be prepared to wait at least 10 to 15 mins for your meal...don't keep drinking the refills or you'd be too full to enjoy the chicken!

Terrible service! Will cancel your delivery from POSTMATES and tells them too late, got my food after multiple cancelled attempts and it was cold and nasty! Do NOT order from here for delivery if you want good wings and fresh hot food - you will be SCREWED like we were for our game weekend celebration tonight with lots of angry guests! FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BE BETTER!!!

when I was in LA, we often bought crispy spicy fried chicken to go for 夜宵. I move to south bay of north CA, I tried to find same flavor, or even similar. disappointed! so I am gonna back to UCLA for BBQ chicken!

When you're thinking about a hole in the wall, you usually envision a quiet gas station in the middle of nowhere with a single restroom stall and a hole carved into the side of it. Although that sounds like some greasy fun on a Saturday night, BBQ Chicken still gets my vote! Literally a "hole in the wall" joint located near the UCLA campus, you know the food has got to be dirty, great and cheap. Kinda like my last date before she told me she was interested in Celine hand bags, yikes red flag boys! Anyway, if you're looking for greasy Korean Style fried chicken in the area look no further, BBQ chicken has got you covered like your twin brother with a lazy eye who aces all your math tests in primary school. The staff here are nicer than most of my friends and don't expect you to drive them home at the end of the night. I'll be back to slide down more poultry at this fantastic glorified hole in the wall establishment!

Great spot for some Korean fried chicken. I ordered a huge combo to-go and ended up with more than enough food for 5. Next time I'll call ahead though because it takes about 30 minutes to prepare. We particularly like the teri wings, but the classic was good too! It's in Westwood so be prepared to fight for parking.

The chicken is delicious. Very juicy with great tasting sauce. I've tried both the teri and fire teri drumsticks (I prefer drumsticks over wings). If I could eat their chicken every day, I would. I want to keep going back to try all the different sauces they have. It seems to be a little hectic on Friday nights since they get extremely busy and they don't have a large staff. There's also not very many tables. I recommend going when it's not so busy.
