I was absolutely thrilled to discover several hidden secrets in LA that serve pastries without being overly sweet! Their cream puffs strike the perfect balance of sweetness and are incredibly delicious. I accidentally ended up ordering the largest ones—a combo of chocolate and vanilla cream. They’re beyond amazing, but I have to say, the vanilla cream puff is an absolute must-try! Now I am going to stop here because just thinking about them and they’re making my mouth water!...
This comment is strictly due to personal preference… I’m not a huge cream person so when I originally ordered it, it was too much cream 🫤. Second time I went back, I asked for half the amount and it was PERFECTO 🤌. Definitely recommend anyone to do that if you’re weird like me 😆 PS my favorite is Oreo and Strawberry
Tried Beard Papa’s, and I’m on the fence. The cream custard is tasty with a good texture, but the puff pastry was too thick and not as delicate as it should be—not very flavorful either. Worth trying once if you’re really craving a dessert pastry, but not something I’d go back for.
