My wife was working the late shift at the Rite Aid on Vermont Ave in LA. She had a craving for pizza. I got there early to survey the pizza place in surrounding area. What popped up about a mile away was Bella Luna Pizza on Hillhurst. When I look at the place on Apple map, I noticed it was a mobile pizza oven. One of the picture showed cash only. I ordered a 12" pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust, sauce and cheese were great. The pepperoni was a bit salty. Overall, it was a great pie. DJ's rating 4.40/5.00 Would I come back? Yes to try the other pizzas.

Pizza is absolutely amazing, I highly recommend the Estrella pizza. The service is quick too pizza is made fresh to order and is ready in about 15-20 min. Location isn't to bad it's is a food truck after all just streets can be a little sus at night. Didn't take picture of pizza because it's was gone before I could take a picture.

I can safely say I've tried the majority of their pizzas on the menu, and they're all amazing. The Estrella is my personal favorite. They have a couple of great vegetarian options like the cheese & spinach that's a for sure not to miss.The staff is always friendly and just an over all great experience.

Excellent pizza. Wish they had a sit down location but then you would have to pay double for it.
What a find! The pizza was mouthwatering, and while the crust was different from most pizzas, being woodfired probably accounted for this. Loved it! We also had an arugula salad that was outstanding with a great dressing. We were intimidated at first because there was no parking we thought, but you're allowed to park in the Albertson's parking lot just adjacent to the truck so it all worked out great. We have an outstanding go-to pizza restaurant for the future!
