Birrieria Los Gonzalez - Lunch Truck

Birrieria Los Gonzalez is a hidden gem that delivers some of the best birria I’ve ever had. From the moment you pull up to the food truck on Maple Ave, you know you’re in for something special. The aroma alone is enough to get your mouth watering.

I ordered the quesatacos and a side of consommé—and wow. The birria is incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The crispy cheese on the tacos takes it to another level, and the consommé is rich, savory, and perfect for dipping.

Service was fast and friendly, and even though it’s a food truck, everything was clean and organized. It’s cash-only, so come prepared, and be mindful of parking in the area.

If you’re a fan of birria, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back—probably sooner than I should!

Birria tostados were soggy. Birria was not authentic. Very disappointed….

These are the only birria tacos I will eat HANDS DOWN!! I won’t even eat at their sit down location on Whittier it has to be from this truck right here PERIOD! These are the best birria de res tacos in all of LA and possibly the whole country lol I won’t even eat birria from anywhere else because I know they don’t compare to the tacos from here. I like that their tacos are not as greasy as some birria tacos tend to be. My favorite item is the consomé even though on some days they do go a little overboard with the salt but that’s not everyday it’s just sometimes it happens. But everything here is good and is a must try for sure

Order 2 large consomés with very simple instruction “ todo aparte “ and get it with everything plus meat was very hard , always eat at east LA and never have a problem … but employees here can follow simple instructions…

If i can give this place a zero star I would, every time i go there is something wrong or missing with my food, i went today and literally they had 3 mistakes in one order! I noticed when i got home, i live 15 mins away and i hate to drive back specially when you’re starving, food is disgusting today, and everytime i go it’s just getting more disgusting, today i asked for a torta and to make sure it has everything, meat, cheese, beans, & cilantro cebolla, they gave me just the buns with meat, not even a side of cilantro cebolla for the tacos!now i know why that lunch truck is always empty, LAST TIME I EVER GO!
