We have eaten here several times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. We found the service to be fairly middling and indifferent but not bad or rude. Takeout is our preferred method now.

Warning! They automatically charge 18% “service fee”, and the service is below standard. The food is good but it’s hard to mess up noodles, lettuce and meats.

Favorite lunch spot in Atwater. Beautiful space, great to dine indoors or outdoors, food is healthy and fresh and delicious. Best of the three Vietnamese restaurants on Glendale Blvd by far. I'm an especially big fan of their Bún.

I was at this place last Thursday 4/20/23 at 12 pm to 1 pm , the waitress had a real nasty attitude , she didn’t greet us and trew menus on table . I do not know if she did not like me and my friend or she is like that , so I did not leave a tip . Today we came again cause we love the food and thought we were going to be lucky today but she gave us dirty look and we left to other place down the street where the service was Amaxing at other place.
Celiac safe. Gluten free pho! AND it tastes great!
Food is good, however the service is TERRIBLE. The waitresses are so rude, which gave us a very uncomfortable dinner experience- this is at the Atwater location.
Amazing pho, worst service of my life the last 3 times. Not going back.
Really good pho, friendly service and cozy seatings inside. Perfect for a winter day

Food was pretty good. More broth than anything else. Service was okay, they were definitely ready to leave which I completely understand as we were the last table. She forgot a few things, and when I asked for a side of meatballs to add to my pho, they were frozen cold in the middle. She was in a hurry to leave (she even vocalized it) and I didn’t have time to look over the itemized bill.I entered the tip once and it brought me back to the first page. She helped me get there so she knew I had already entered the tip. When we left and I checked my bank statement, I was charged 100$ for 3 phos and spring rolls. I looked on the menu to check out the prices as it just didn’t seem right. That’s when I saw that the menu states that service of 18% is included on all dine in checks. I went back to ask for an itemized bill to make sure and was told it was not possible, that the girl had already left. 5 mins had passed. The feeling was just off. It definitely felt like I was being charged the tip purposefully, twice, maybe even three times. If the check did indeed include the tip, it is the responsibility of the staff to let the customer know. I worked in the service industry for 15 plus years and always did.**This was at the Atwater location on Sunday afternoon.
I have never encountered ruder waitresses in my life. The one with red hair was very obviously talking about us to her coworker and made us feel very uncomfortable. It’s clear to me that the 18% gratuity here included regardless means they don’t care about treating you well because they get tipped regardless. I won’t come here again. It’s a shame because the food is decent.
No eatery is worth an 18% service fee. Blatant disregard to patrons.
In love ❤️ with their ramen and learning the proper way of eating the food. Can't wait to go back. Recommending the rice noodles.
Oxtail Pho is where it’s at, generous portions and flavorful broth. Always leave here full. Food is excellent. Ambience is good. Service leaves for more to be desired but it’s a noodle bar not a tasting course. Yes it’s a little pricey, but so are the other 2 Vietnamese joints in Atwater. Hours or kind of inconsistent, also if you show up ~30 minute before they close they won’t seat you and only do takeout, unless you insist that you can down a bowl in 10 min.
