First time eating here I got the cheeseburger and it was good, went back maybe a week later and got the texas burger and it tasted like the grill maybe needed to be cleaned. Just tried to go again after months and it was not open, looks like they may be closed down

The burgers were really yummy. I would pass on the fries. Or would want them to be a bit more crunchy. The Texas burger had the perfect balance of meat, cheese, bar b que sauce on a nicely toasted bun. The California burger was just as yummy. Would go back and make this a regular spot. Everything seemed fresh. The cook was very attentive and took the time to make the food properly. There are no tables to eat there. It's a to go spot. We don't have a problem with that.

The reviews are legit! Blue Bird serves up super fresh, tasty, juicy burgers from an unassuming location. Yes, it's inside an alcohol and convenience store. There's a counter serve grill in the back where they cook up the burgers. The owner Tony was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. I felt he was genuinely interested in connecting with me as a person. That was an awesome surprise! Thanks for making good burgers and an affordable price. I paid $10 for the burger. Note: The burgers are very juicy, so keep that in mind while eating and transporting it. I wouldn't wait too long to eat it after it's prepared. Enjoy!

This is one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. No cap. My partner and I walked past this corner store before and just guessed that they probably had good food. Well, we have finally confirmed that. When we came around 1-2 ish the had temporarily run out of wings but my partner was able to order lemon pepper seasoned fries to satisfy that desire from the wings. I ordered the tex mex burger. The total was $15 ($5 for the fry and $10 for the burger). It took maybe 10-15 minutes to be ready. We walked back to the apartment to enjoy the food (which is a lie because we got into the fries on the walk home). The fries are cooked and seasoned very well - similar to 5 guys but fresher and crispier. The tex mex burger was delicious. The bun was perfectly soft and buttery, the patties were juicy and fresh, and the fried onions were super flavorful. The barbecue sauce was a great touch as well. On top of that, it was piping hot and dripping down my hands so it was a great burger eating experience. Suffice it to say the burger (and fries) did not stand a chance. And even though my partner wasn't able to get wings, he said he (and I) should still give them a 5/5 because everything was so good. I also couldn't find a reason to rate them any less!

Fantastic food from a Bodega. Super chill atmosphere and workers. There's no seating yet but they said they'd have outdoor seating in a few months. Everything was delicious!

So I was craving a chicken sandwich and a burger came across this spot on line. I seen they had a lot of good reviews so i decided to give it a try. I ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich and an Original Burger. I was super hungry I didn't take any pictures but they both where so juicy and tasty. The best part of it it's low key inside a small convenient store. They have a small selection of items for sell. Stop by and definitely show them some love and support this small business.

This burger spot is in a small market by my house. Definitely a one of a kind type of place. I love "off the beaten path" places. I got Original Burger and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The burger was great. I eat burgers 4 times a week. I know this space. This one hit all the right notes.A standard burger with fresh toppings and well seasoned beef patties. Yes, please. The chicken was moist and well seasoned. The slaw went perfectly. And the pickles were great. They were out of fries so, I didn't get to try the Loaded Fries.I'll try those next time I come back. And they were nice and friendly.5 Stars all the way.

Incredible. So good! I especially like how they hand-make each burger patty to order. No preformed burger patties out of a box for these burger artisans. They’re also a little convenience store too so you can pick up anything else you need. A fine local business that I’ll be returning to again soon and sharing with visiting friends.
