My Dad was born in 45' and remembers Bob's as a kid. He says the place is still the same. They know how to keep it simple and real. I love this place and hope it stays for another generation, at least.Tips: cash only, no inside or outside seating. There's a restaurant next door; separate owners, don't eat ice cream on their benches...food next door is good too! So you can totally make a date of it.Only place I eat ice cream from, myself.
This ice cream spot is nice, but hasn't been updated in years. Equipment is very old and a bit smelly. Nonetheless, the ice cream is good, not amazing, but good. I always order a simple vanilla ice cream while I wait on my order from the restaurant next store. Ice cream has gone up a lot here, a couple of years ago the vanilla ice cream was about $1.50, now it's almost $3 for a small cone. There's only 1-2 people working here at a time, but it's usually quite empty here. Staff is friendly and pretty quick at serving. I do stress and it's very important to note that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. No Apple Pay, debit or credit cards.Parking: There's parking behind the structure and street parking just at the front.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I'm 38 now. Ive made it a tradition to bring every one I'm cool with here. I always get the same pineapple malt my absolute favorite. Service is great. Make sure you bring cause it's cash only.
Really good ice cream . It's so worth the wait . Highly recommend and they stay open late in case you get the munchies : )

I was stopping by the area (I'm from SFV) and found this sweet little gem! The girl that helped me was so nice. I got the dipped cone and the ice cream was sweet but not overly sweet. Tasted milky but had a texture of a sorbet. Very much worth it!!!!!

Banana Splits that I bought on Friday had rotten pineapple in it. I have never had bad service or was given rotten something bad. I told her to throw it away but I don't think she did. She did offer me a new banana split, however that taste lingered in my mouth.
