Have been coming here for 8 years and the service is getting worse and worse. Today I stopped by and was told that they reduced the size of all their iced coffee beverages from 16oz to 12oz, but the price has stayed the same. Used to be able to get a flavored latte for $5.50, then they stayed charging $1 for flavor instead of $0.50. Now, the size of the drink is 4oz less but still same price? I won’t be walking here anymore and will instead go to the many other spots in the neighborhood where you can get coffee.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this was disappointing. On the second half of my sandwich, I found a very long black hair inside. It completely ruined the meal and felt very unhygienic. I did receive a refund, which I appreciate, but I hope the restaurant improves their food safety and cleanliness, because this is not acceptable.

Unassuming bakery with a robust menu. Never seen so many sourdough varieties. Everything looked good. But the location isn't convenient and neither is the parking.

Great food but the volume level on the metal chairs is out of control. Do you need me to bring you some felt pads???
One of my favorite quick lunch spots in the arts district.

Sandwiches are amazing here. Fresh bread and great sandwich options. If you're feeling a sandwich in the area this is the place. I've been here 4 times before I wrote my review. Delicious

The bread can't be beat in DTLA. There is a wait sometimes, they run out of things, and parking is difficult. It's all worth it though.

Food was delicious! Had a berry danish and a Parisian sandwich and it was to die for!
On another note customer service was horrible! I was helped by a gentleman sitting on a chair? I asked for my ham and cheese to be warm and was told he couldn’t warm it because he couldn’t walk to take it to be warmed? His attitude was very much bitter like if I was disturbing him by asking him to warm my pastry, the coffee he made me was supposed to be warm but it was a nasty lukewarm! Bread lounge please do better, food and pastries are delicious but need to train your staff.
Genuinely unclean. Hazardous

The Bread Lounge in Downtown LA is my go-to for freshly baked goods. The bread here is some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their croissants are flaky and buttery, and they offer a variety of pastries that never disappoint. The vibe is relaxed, and the staff is friendly. It’s definitely worth stopping by for a quick breakfast or a mid-day snack

Preordered a loaf from here and it was quite small but fair for the price. Would prefer to buy a half loaf for the price to get the bigger slices
Love this bakery! They probably have some of the best bread in DTLA. The indoor dining is spacious and private parking lot is great for being a spot in downtown. I really like their shakshouka, and their bagels have a fluffy interior and delicate crisp exterior.
