The vibe was fun, and the views were good! The food and cocktails were tasty. Unfortunately, the staff wasn’t friendly. Our waiter was oddly confrontational from the start. I asked him what the popular cocktails were, and if he had a favorite. His responses were short and we saw him rolling his eyes after our interactions. I’m not sure if he was only having a bad day or was stressed, but we were nothing but nice and cooperative with him. The overall vibe was fun, but the staff made us feel unwelcome.

One of my favorite spots for a great night out! Amazing drinks and service.

I ordered a Coke with guacamole and chips — the chips were stale and tasteless, and I ended up drinking water instead of the Coke. The atmosphere was nice, but everything else was pretty bad.

I enjoyed my visit to Broken Shaker. The drinks were definitely creative and had some unique twists you don't usually see at other cocktail spots. The atmosphere was lively and casual, which made it a nice place to relax with friends. The service was good, and everything moved at a comfortable pace.

Had a cocktail on the patio on a warm day. Good quality and fairly priced - the patio get you away from the ‘street below.’ Very nice pool as well

There’s that too many places, you can go downtown LA to have a rooftop bar with the open access swimming pool and for sure this is a really popular place but there’s no beer on top only in bottles or cans.

Definitely a good place to hang out with your friends if you’re trying to make friends, but if you’re trying to get some work done, forget about it

PSA: This restaurant will add an 18% “service fee” to your bill without ever mentioning it beforehand. Which is theft. Also, most of the food was inedible. I ended up paying $100 to throw away half of it. Would not recommend.

Doesn’t taste like bbq, so small, it was like $17 and it’s dry . I swear this is all the food that came

No food. Manager canceled reservation at the last minute. . I had reservations for 10 people at 7pm on a Monday night. People were coming from all over town for a celebration. Manager texts me while I was in route to the restaurant to say he's closing the kitchen early. We didn't learn this until we got there. He said he didn't know we wanted food! He knew. I had texted him earlier to confirm and messaged the restaurant through open table. Besides who books on Open Table for drinks only? Mad scramble to find someplace close. We salvaged the night but it was really stressful and unnecessary.

Arrived at 8:30 they weren’t serving food anymore. Beautiful setting horrible servers. The waiter was catty and closed off half the sitting area at 9 which was the beauty part. Waste

Fast service and a small intimate vibe. Love this place.

Made a last minute reservation here. Really cool vibe, beautiful space. Food is def overpriced for the portion/quality, it just wasn't very good. Sangria was really yummy though. You're paying for the ambience.
