Avoid. This was awful. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese. The brisket looked and tasted like it come from a can. I wouldn't feed it to a dog. The Mac and cheese was 100 percent box Mac and cheese. I felt like I needed to puke about an hour later.

The guy working the register looked high as a kite and had the personality of a piece of cardboard. Do not eat from here.

This review is for the management of the farmers market. Even if the guy is your nephew, let him go. Bring someone who can cook!
Terrible food, probably few days old.

Good beef brisket, bad beef ribs.
I ordered a plate of beef brisket first. It was fair amount, tender but light tasted, so after I put the Barbecue sauce on, it was OK. The plate also had a piece of very oilly and greasy bread, plus two sides to choose from. I had to say that in this famous tourist destination, there were very few good quality and fair priced restaurants to choose from, this Barbecue place is certainly not bad at all. Therefore, I ordered a beef ribs for the second time. However, the beef rib was very old and dry, salty. I can tell that it was not fresh and it may be in the warmer for a long time, so I certainly will not order this beef rib again. I may try the Barbecue chicken next time.

Come on, it’s like they are not even trying to cook food that is palatable for $26. Want a coke? Another $4. BBQ sauce is just generic Sysco high fructose corn syrup. Toast in day old Walmart French bread for 50 cent sale rack. Mac and Cheese is so interesting that they are better off switching to off brand Kraft. And finally the brisket is so interestingly awesome that they should apologize to the cow for sacrificing everything to end up on my plate, their brisket made me start donating to PETA.

Brisket super dry! Not fun to eat...
Sides were good. And big meat portion. But you pay for it.
Very quick turnaround.

I thought I encountered inexplicable racial discrimination here. I waited at the counter for six or seven minutes, but what I got was the clerk's disregard. They were coming and going, busy taking orders and serving meals, but they paid no attention to me at all.Just now, I was browsing other reviews of this store and felt grateful that I didn't waste my money and time on them.

After we stood in front of the store for a long time, considering what we wanted to eat, the clerk in charge of ordering ignored us and had no intention of serving us. Apparently, others who arrived later than us were served before us. After waiting for almost 10 minutes with no results and realizing that every single clerk was ignoring us, we gave up on the food we were going to order and just left. Apparently their business is so good that they don't need any more customers.

food was terrible and inedible. Dry and flavorless. The BBQ sauce was more vinegar than anything else. The ribs were dry and put under a heatlamp for god knows how long, drying it out. Couldnt pull apart and too tough to chew. The chicken plate was dry and NOT anywhere mear a half chicken. Maybe a tiny hen but nothing like a full size chicken cut halfway. The prices are outrageous for this food. AVOID AT ALL COST. This is not BBQ. Sauce on top of meat is not BBQ. No smoke, no flavor, etc.

Probably the worst lunch I’ve ever had. Food looks and tastes like the free food they offer at middle school cafeterias! Beef had no flavor whatsoever so you have to smother it with barbecue sauce. Mac and cheese was cold and tasted microwaved with almost no flavor. Absolutely terrible! Definitely not worth $25 and not even worth $5!

Tiny portions, very pricey. Completely tasteless ribs and dry bread. Go to another BBQ place - no shortage of those in LA!

Whenever I’m at Farmers Market and cravings for Bbq, I go at Bryan’s Pit Barbecue. Friendly staff, delicious baby back pork ribs and beef briskets. There sides are also delicious and tasty. I’ve been coming at this store for over 15 yrs already and I’m telling you the taste still the same. Keep up the good work ??.

Interested in bbq that isn't just sauce ladened? Try this place. It's different allowing you to enjoy the bbq meats and dipping the bbq sauce only if you want. The brisket was juicy without being over fatty. They have both beef and pork ribs. And those who want saucey meal can order the pulled pork which is really delicious with flavors well integrated in a quality sauce. As for sides the sweet potato definitely made it a filling meal. And the recommended potato salad was a pleasant surprise with a really nice kick to the taste.

Parking: Don't park at the Grove. Must park in lot for farmers market for validation

Price is ok considering all the other places are quite high. But the food was very bland. The brisket was bad and I can't really see myself coming back.Friendly service though.
