I was really liking Burgerlords and this was only my second time going. I got all the way home just find a nasty piece of hair in my fries. This is nowhere near the texture or color of my hair, so no it’s not mine. Very disappointed and I hope this wasn’t on purpose. Please wear hairnets!

I've made the difficult decision to cease my support for Burgerlords. Under new ownership, the decision to eliminate vegan options such as shakes, buns, and cheese is deeply disappointing. The vibrant vegan community, which once championed Burgerlords for its exceptional vegan offerings, now finds itself excluded. It's perplexing why the business wouldn't seize the opportunity to cater to both vegan and non-vegan customers. With such a diverse customer base, this move risks alienating a significant portion of its supporters. Unfortunately, I fear that without reconsideration, Burgerlords may face closure within the next 1-2 years.Again, to my vegan friends, or anyone that eats vegan, do not support this business anymore! You’ll l have nothing there to eat within the next month. Everything will be removed.Shoutout to Luke! The most genuine guy! And, to the rest of the Burgerlords staff and cooks - all of you are amazing! Thank you for amazing food and service the last few years!

Nothing special at all I was looking forward to something I'm working in the neighborhood for the next couple months I've been checking out local spots this one was a disappointment. It just wasn't feeling the love. I ordered a burger and again nothing to ride home about.

I normally wouldn’t write a review like this but we had the most awkward unwelcoming and weird experience. We popped in at 9:25pm on Saturday to grab burgers and were told we couldn’t eat them inside and had to take them to-go. I would understand this if we were really pushing their 10pm close time but we had arrived at a reasonable time and thought we could enjoy our meal inside at a table vs in the dark standing using the plastic barricades as a table... This was then followed with a food order mix up (there was only one other customer there), a bag of food tossed onto the table, and a staff member very loudly and obviously cleaning around us as we waited in awkward silence. It felt like the staff was annoyed by us and it was a big inconvenience that we had ordered food. Would love to know when it’s ok to order food and be able to eat it at the restaurant?

Points off for adding meat to the menu; they used to be fully vegan. I was not impressed by the vegan burgers. They make their own patties, but unlike other reviewers I did not like them as much as Impossible or Beyond. I did not like the tofu nuggets that much either. The milkshakes were really good though! They have tahini in them, which I liked very much. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-11

They had this vegan burger that was amazing. We would tell everyone to come here for it. They changed their recipe and now it’s meh.

Good smash burgers. Very refreshing to see vegan "beefy" patties that are made in house and not impossible or beyond.

Wow- both their vegan and beef burgers are Wildly good! You can see and taste the quality of the food. I especially loved the gourmet house made ranch. Staff was very kind and helpful and my first visit was very pleasant and delicious!

The vegan Oklahoma smash burger was so delicious, I considered getting a hotel near buy, just so I could have it again the next day! The Lord of the fries were great, and just a little bit spicy. I also had the tahini milk shake (vanilla). It had no business being as tasty as it was. I was skeptical, but it was creamy and smooth. It didn't taste exactly like an ice cream shake, but was close and had it's own delicious flavor. I'll try it with Oreo next time.Vegetarian options: Many (if not most) menu items can be made vegan. Like yummy vegan, not, replace the burger patty with a broccoli medley vegan.

I love Burgerlord veggie burgers and the tofu nuggets! Come here all the time. However on Friday night there was a dog at someone's inside table. didn't appear to be a service dog. I don't think this is sanitary and does not meet LA health codes. It is also not fair to people who are scared or allergic to dogs. People who want to dine with their dogs should sit outside. I hope I do not see this again.

The food is great I eat here at least twice a month. The service however is non existent maybe it's part of the ambiance to not have a phone for the restaurant, but it just seems inconvenient. I also have to note the half full cups of sunburn sauce for $1 and no way to buy a whole bottle online I end up spending $8 for a quarter of a bottle and that just doesn't seem right.

Burger was raw! Asked for refund and/or another burger and guy gave me another burger and brought out a bonus milkshake which was nice but he kind of like stood there and stared at me and my friends when delivering the new burger and I was pretty convinced they like put rat poisoning in my food. Also either way this is one of those places that wants you to think it's a nice friendly run down neighborhood burger place but secretly it serves "elevated" burgers and plays LCD soundsystem and charges you 5 dollars for fries, like this ain't your grandmas burger, we have vegan options! Get your cheap classic burger but rest easy knowing it is made with grass fed beef and the wink nudge in-on-the-joke gloss of LA's best! Simulacra burger! Also lady who gave one of my friends food just kind of slopped it there and acted all confused and mad. Is this a bit or something. Fuck outta here! Go to in n out instead!
