HELP SUPPORT LOCALLY-OWNED BUSINESSES – THEY ARE BEING PUSHED OUT! Excellent Latino-owned business struggling to keep up with bills due to gentrification. Great food & prices; friendly and attentive service!
This spot is a must-go in Highland Park! Their menu is authentically Mexican and so vegan friendly. We ordered the vegan chilaquiles and they were perfectly spicy, and the vegan egg and cheese on top was delicious. The Brewchata (cold brew + horchata) was also amazing. The best chocolate concha I’ve had outside of Mexico! I’ve had it twice on different days and it’s consistently good. The cafe de olla cold brew is good too. Not too sweet with nice subtle spices. The gal who works at the cashier is nice too. Good prices.
