“Its a beautiful cosy place, takes you back in time. The cakes, as you can see in the video look delicious (didn't try one though). We had the lemon pancakes which were AMAZING, also the breakfast burrito which was really delicious as well and very filling. Their coffees were also flavourful and strong.Lastly, salmon with potato pancakes..which I personally didn't really like.. they had a funny taste.. quite soggy.. something about the salmon? Or the eggs? I didn't understand but unfortunately has a weird and not good taste.“
“Get a delicious linch while dealing with parking tickets- DOT is right next door ?Love their turkish eggs and hubs likes their sandwiches. I adore black sesame lattes and theirs has a double shot of espresso ?Free parking in structure off of catalina when validated by them. Otherwise street parking on weekend is pretty easy too“
“AMAZING Expect waiting outside, party of 2 was 20-25 min Saturday afternoon and cannot call in to be added to it. Everything on the menu is great but the French toast, pork belly fried rice, and strawberry tea were the best. Limited seating and one restroom but highly recommend.“
“OMG this Japanese restaurant and dessert place is super cute and delicious. Follow me!Highlights of the menu:1. Original pancake - super jiggling2. Durian hot premium pancake - Oh em Gee love!!3. Strawberry matcha dalgona4. Hot coffee with marshmallow and cookie5. Chicken karaage6. Tonkatsu curry“
“In search of a good french pastry place in the LA area so drove here to try it. Overall 3.5/5 Mixed Berry Tart 4.5/5 Strawberry Pistachio Croissant 4/5 Butter Croissant 4/5 Kouign Amann - 2/5 If you live in the area, definitely a good pastry store that's close to home.“
“Try to get here as early as you can! I got here probably at 9.40 AM-ish. Definitely a pricey pastry BUT worth to try (and come back to). Probably one of the best croissants I’ve ever had in LA. Flake to perfection, inside is very buttery soft and fluffy. Atmosphere is very cozy and nice to work.“
“- Highly recommend! Excellent overall experience. Great prices. Great cubano sandwich. Clean and lively atmosphere. No pestering for tips on payment screen. Friendly service.- The only constructive criticism is that they delivered every item we bought (bread, drinks, sandwich, croissant role) apart by about 2-3 minutes (annoying). I'd prefer you just bring everything all at once.“
“Parking sucks very bad. Super professional hospitable staff. Clean bathroom. NO WIFI !!!! ample seating. Beautiful ethereal inspiring decor. Yummy coffee & pastries. Bad ass background music all the time. Will definitely return & recommend!“
“Great experience!!! From a friendly staff to the delicious coffee (Iced tres leches coffee) and cozy atmosphere. This hidden gem is by far one of my fav coffee shops in East Hollywood. I can't wait to try their pesto sandwich next. I highly recommend this spot for your next coffee fix :)“
“My first time here and I LOVE the ambiance, the environment is nice and the inside of this place is gorgeous. Just enough space and plenty of tables/seats to sit and even get some work done! GREAT music and vibes. However, I was not too fond of the managers here, they were a little rude and non-personable which rubbed me the wrong way. Especially the female manager here whose name I did not get, seems as though she was NOT fond of people of color. Lalo and Gabriel were lovely, had great energy, and were super attentive! Food and drinks aspect-wise, I LOVED the salmon cucumber toast and lavender oat latte. Very tasty, and would 1000% try again. I do hope if and when I return the management can be more friendly and receptive to ALL.“
“Recommended. I came by. There’s a kiosk to order and a cashier. I ordered the garlic bagel they are known for and the breakfast Becky. There’s an outdoor seating area as well as indoors. They have a merchandise wall in case you want to buy anything. Also a fridge section that has drinks. The kitchen is easily viewable to see what’s going on. The bagel was great. Also the breakfast Becky with its bacon and sauce. I really liked it.“
“This is actually a review for Homegirl's catering service: I hired Homegirl to cater my book launch at the University of Southern California. Nadine was super easy to work with in planning out the kinds of foods I wanted for my event. Abel did an excellent job finding our venue and setting up a delicious spread. I got turkey sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, and vegan sandwiches. Everything was delicious on fresh bread baked by Homegirl. We also had agua frescas, hummus, and salad. The hummus was actually so popular that I barely got to try any. My guests ate it all! Note to self: order extra hummus next time. Putting on an event is time consuming and stressful, but Homegirl made the food portion of my event easier to manage. I highly recommend them. They will be at the top of my list for future catering events.“
“Blue Lounge is an amazing lounge to sit and enjoy Shisha. They have a large variety of tobacco flavors and all pipes are "Regals" unless you choose a different specialty pipe they offer. This place is safe, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of lighted parking out front and a large outdoor patio with heaters and seating outback. I love smoking here and will continue to visit GG and team!“
“I was in the area for a tire and in desperate need of coffee. I asked the barista which to get and they recommended the horchata latte, I got it with half the sweetener, iced and it was perfect. I even splurged and got a the tomato & mozzarella empanada (also recommend by the barista) chefs kiss! Came with a chipotle sauce of some kind and so fresh. I also opted for the spinach, egg and cheese empanada which was also delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area.“
“Cute outdoor cafe with delicious scones and tea. My party had a variety of flavors and everyone enjoyed their choices. My favorites are the matcha white chocolate , ube coconut and chocolate chip. The options for vegetarian sandwiches and vegan/gluten free scones were yummy and appreciated.“
“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“
“I came about 2 months ago to grab some breakfast for the fam and I have been obsessed ever since then. Everything I've tried so far has not disappointed, every time I come I get something different and it always hits the spot! Portion sizes are perfect and affordable. The service is amazing as well! I love this place and I highly recommend anyone to try it out.“
“Everything time you come down to Griffins Observatory you have to came to The Trails for there few goodies especially their lavender shortbread cookie! That's what we ordered and Avocado Sandwich. Their sandwiches are bountiful like you can see the picture I can explain it just few words you got to come here and try it. Service are very friendly and the environment is very cute and planted seating area.“
“Pleasant vibe for breakfast in good location on Sunset. Very efficient, warm and welcoming staff. That’s important. Disappointed by the biscuit and hashbrowns. But excellent coffee! I like espresso and this one is very good. Large menu. They also have vegan dishes.Kid-friendliness: It is clear that this place would be a good pick with kids. Relaxed.A lot of choices. And pancakes!“
“I have accidentally found the greatest toast in all of America. I was here to meet some friends for an event and thought I’d pop in for a quick bite. I ordered the avocado toast thinking it would be an unremarkable snack. Have you ever experienced something so above and beyond expectation you wonder if you’re on a hidden camera show? This toast is that good. Toppings were fresh, seasoning was on point, and the toast was perfectly soft but toasty. Also ordered the Michelle Wi which lemonade and black tea. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nice patio and neighborhood parking nearby. Would it be rude if I ordered another toast? Actually considering it.“
“Love that the pastries here are always fresh! Great croissants. Good espresso drinks. I like that they have a seasonal espresso to try, as an espresso lover who appreciates light roast espresso.Pourovers are okay. I don't know if it's because they are so busy or because of the kinds of beans they use, but many times I find them to not be my favorite. They seem to be worse during rush hour so I think it's an execution thing. Love that they have multiple bean options, I recommend going with one of the "darker" ones as they taste fruitier to me, Marus lightest roasts tend to be sour IMO.Also they need have some restrictions on dogs here. I've had so many dogs sniffing me, trying to eat my food, or literally jump on me. I came to a cafe, not a dog park.“
“All foods I have tried here are very fresh, and people are always so welcoming. I especially like the strawberry matcha latte, squeezed orange juice, croissant ham sandwich, tuna kimbap, and the chicken salad. The turkey sandwich is great, too, as it has many fresh cut veggies inside, but I would recommend croissant sandwich over it as I just personally like the bread part being croissant better. There are seats inside the cafe, and although I have not eaten inside, it rather looked spacious.“
“Come here all the time. Food portions are very generous and the coffee here is great. A bit on the strong side at times but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The breakfast burrito, crepe, French Toast combo, and of course their açaí bowls are my favorites. They make a pretty hearty breakfast sandwich as well.Because their portions are big, don’t come here expecting to pick up fast food. The service is not slow. These people work hard to get your food orders ready accurately but wait time for your meal could be anywhere from 10-18 minutes. But when I tell you it’s worth the wait, trust me. I come here before work and order ahead for my lunch breaks.Staff is of course always great and friendly.“
“Love their speciality drinks and fun breads and pastries. I got the curry pan and the strawberry sakura latte and both were really good. The floral and berry flavors worked nicely with the coffee but the sakura flavor wasn’t super strong. Pretty centrally located in Little Tokyo and the staff are really nice. There were a few tables inside but I took my order to go.“
“I had their Tiramisu cake slice. Kinda dry. Staff was more interested in having their own conversations than taking my order. I felt like I waited forever but probably was more like 5 minutes for them to finally take my order. I also had their chocolate chip cookies. Definitely delicious.“
“Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“
“The Earl Grey latte is SO GOOD!! I'd say this shop is a little pricey, but if you sign up for their rewards programs the points stack up past and you'll be getting a free drink or food item before you know it. I love that this coffee shop always has friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere. Also has some outdoor seating if you want to bring your pup!!“
“Love this local sandwich shop with a bit of history, amazing staff, and delicious food! Not typically a sandwich person, but this place is definitely working on changing my mind! The tri-tip sandwich, available on Thursday and Friday only, is amazing, nice smoky flavor and melted cheese, works just so well. The Hey Joe sandwich is great any other day of the week if you're a meat lover - pastrami, roast beef, and a hot link! Give them a go and support, my favorite type of restaurant to support, cheers!“
“The most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had. So many vegan/veggie options for my friend too. Next time I'ma have the yogurt granola and the chocolate Abuelita. The vibes are perfect too - beautiful art, cozy indoors, fresh plants “
“The nicest people and adorable little French Cafe! I mistakenly thought it was vegan/vegetarian from a Google search but despite having meat they had many options for me and were so lovely and accommodating in making recommendations. A wonderful accidental find after a beautiful Glendale hike. Highly recommend!“
“Parking is a little challenging. The restaurant is on the corner of Jackson and another street I forget. There is a little lot but you have to come in from a different street-Not on Jackson. There are about 3 30 min parking spots right in front of the restaurant on another street which is your best bet. Inside they had a nice range of Armenian pasty and baked goods. We got a slice of the Birds Milk cake which was phenomenal. We also tried the mikado which was very interesting and good in its own way. No photos because we scoffed it down. The young lady helping us was very sweet.“
“One of my favorite eateries in the world. I’m from France and this is one of the few places that is as indulgent as home with their baked goods. They made me a beautiful birthday cake years ago despite an unusual flavor request. Their biscuit-bun burger is delicious and the terrace is an awesome cozy spot to hang out. A must try if you’re in the area!“
“Oh man, Grace Cafe is my go to. The food is flavorful and the service is one of a kind! I highly recommend the breakfast burritos, their hot sauce on that burritos is a match made in heaven. You will always be greeted with a smile when Grace is there!“
“The staff are smiling and have very good customer service. Also, the breakfast inside the restaurant was clean and had an American atmosphere, and the breakfast was pretty good.Crispy bacon is inside the omelet. You can add salt or ketchup to your taste. The salad was delicious with fresh arugula and lettuce.“
“Besides the delicious coffees, pastries and in my particular case, the breakfast burrito, Zweet Cafe has the comfort level you expect from a trusted friend. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeout or hanging out to kill time, the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. It's my new "go-to" for that morning pick-me-up. Like a good neighbor...Zweet Cafe is there"“
“This is a great spot to refuel for your day at the office. They have lots of drink options, and a wide variety of snacks too. I was surprised at how inexpensive the treats were! My banana bread with chocolate and pecans was less than $3! It was a small piece, but well made and just the right size for an afternoon snack.“
“This place is located in Glendale, it's kinda hidden but it's fantastic. The ambience is calm and quiet, people mostly go there to study usually, have meetings, etc. the service was fairly fast, and the nice women that took our order was very sweet and considerate. It appears to be a maybe family owned, but it gave greek style vibes, still pretty cool. The food is more on the pricey side, but if you honestly need a place to study and get things done as far as work, this is a nice sophisticated little cafe .“
“It’s been years since i last stopped by before I moved to Chicago. Can’t leave without having my boba. I grew up in the K-Town District. You don’t always have a chance to come back home to visit.Kid-friendliness: You can get your kid ice cream, Oreo boba.“
“This is a small place, but a small place with so much heart. One of the highlights of my annual business trip to Pasadena. Great coffee, breakfast food, deli sandwiches, beer, wine, etc. I once got a Cordova breakfast burrito every day three days in a row and love every second of eating it. (This was last month) anyway, can’t go wrong!“
“located inside the city center on 6th plaza...2nd floor and directly across from the food court entrance...small cafe with a couple small tables/chairs inside and in the lobby...small food menu containing items like croissant or bagel sandwiches, salads, parfait, and avocado toast...but, here for the korean cafe drink menu and the unique korean latte offerings...like the black sesame latte, whole grain latte or honey scotch latte...foamy, creamy and thick topped lattes...honey scotch latte is a butterscotch flavor (not alcoholic)...rich and good...like drinking a dessert...“
“Canyon Coffee literally shook my world. My brother and I were visiting from Florida, doing what we always do - in search of the BEST coffee shop experiences imagineable. Canyon blew our expectations out of the water. We were greeted by the coolest cat, Carlos, with a bold, yet incredibly friendly stature. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. I landed on the eloquent “Hot Japanese Brown Sugar Latte”. LIKE WHAT!! Craft of the craft, one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Yes, “my bro and I are twins”, I told him. Little did I know we were about to be served a delectable slice of perfectly baked Banana Sesame bread made by a local queen. Impressively moist. Yep, I said it. From the time we walked in, we felt like we were home. A pleasant experience all the way around.Dialed in coffee. Amazing service. Great chats. Insanely styled atmosphere. Food was unreal. Phenomenal experience. We will be back for more… one day. Bring this to Florida asap please.“
“Ate here on a Saturday morning with my son. We both got pancakes shared some sausage, eggs, and french fries ( my son's request. He's 4) The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The server was nice and I could tell they didn't want to overwhelm her. As you saw in other reviews, this place has some funny rules. Since we were very hungry, once she came over to take our drink orders we were ready to get the kitchen started on our food. I started to place the order for our food and the server stopped me and said that another table that came in before us hasn't ordered yet. And that it would be fair to wait. I didn't like this at all but the other table placed their order immediately after so it wasn't too bad. I'm gonna wait until they fix some staffing and operations issues before I go back, even though the food was good.“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out this bakery and it exceeded my expectations. The pastries were simply delicious and fresh. But what truly made the experience really great was the friendly and attentive staff. They greeted me with warm smiles and had excellent customer service. Overall, I highly recommend Art's bakery. Thank you!“
“This is a perfect reason why i love Yelp so much. When searching for an avocado toast brings you to a community Gem. Shout out to the person who helped us in front. Happy 9-year anniversary!!!Located a couple blocks up from Pacific Street in HP on state.Parking: has a very spacious parking lot and free parking.Inside: inside is small but very beautifully decorated. All seats and tables are located outside.Service: It's over counter service, so you order first, then you take a. Seat. The person af register was nice and helpful.Food: My spouse and I shared a couple of things; we got an avocado with scrambled egg. It was served with pico de gallo on top. Never had that on a toast 10/10 i had the spinach egg sandwich but loadeed with bacon and avo 10/10. Got matxha latte ice and mex latte ice 9/10 had their homemade coffee cake. Recommend to get it warm 10/10. Oatmeal was ok, to be honest. Oats weren't quite ready, and milk was luke warm. 8/10. But it didn't matter because everything else was amazingPrice: if you read my post, you know i love a deal. We got all this unbder $50 with tip included. We notice they have lunch option as well. Will definitely be returning for that“
“The staff was very polite and accommodating due to the rain. They were understanding that we wanted to take our time so we wouldn't have to walk outside in. The food was delicious and worth the price. The server explained that the Huntington Tea comprised of tea size sandwiches, but when it arrived, my fiancé and I were astonished at the amount of food they give you, in addition to the tea and glass of Prosecco. We needed to take our time as everything was very filling. We highly recommend it, just don't eat before like we did“
“Honestly, the taiyaki here is the best I've ever tasted! It nails the perfect texture balance, with a crispy exterior that gives way to a wonderfully chewy inside. And the red bean filling? Absolutely flawless every time. There's nothing like enjoying it fresh – that's when it truly shines. My only wish is for them to invest in more taiyaki makers to cut down the wait time during busy hours.“
“I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. This particular location has had many tea owners inhabit it, but hopefully, this place is around for a long while. I wanna try lots of other delicious drinks!“
“Found Cafe Montrose on Yelp cause we needed a meeting place in between for us, Santa Clarita and Glendora area to celebrated my girlfriend's birthday, wonderful breakfast burrito, great coffee latte, best trio mimosas! We enjoyed the nice family style area which makes you feel good with all the local people coming in & out. Took some wonderful pastries home! What great service and nice people all around!!!“
“This is a really cute tiny spot right across the metro on Flower Street. The inside is very minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing. I did hear a lot of wonderful things about their matcha but sadly they were out for the day, which is okay it happens; I'll definitely be back for it! The owner was super sweet and a very helpful guy. All the menu items come with oat milk automatically, which is cool- you can always substitute with another milk except for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte. I got the two best selling coffees which was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch + G Spot - I loved the Cinnamon Toast Crunch one it was perfectly flavored, but the G Spot one I had to toss as it was sooooooo sweet it was like drinking sugar; but Im sure that can be pleasant for sweet tooths so I'm not judging! The menu is super extensive so Im pretty sure there is something for everyone to love! Pricing is very high up there, but Im also not going to judge on that as cost of goods are flying through the roof for restaurant industries as well. Overall pretty good :)“
“My bff brought home 2 vegan pan dulces from here, they were tasty , but not mind blowing. Props & blessings to Them though for making vegan items . I had a pumpkin empanada & concha type pan: too dry imo. I'll recommend cuz they're vegan, but I won't purchase or travel here. Can't opine on the price or parking or staff as I didn't visit the site.“
