As someone who has been a loyal fan of Burgerlords since their early days in Chinatown, I was excited to revisit them at their Highland Park location, eager to introduce what I believed was one of the best burgers in the city to a friend. My previous experiences had set high expectations, thanks to their homemade bread, tallow fries, and the simplicity that makes their offerings stand out.

I left Burgerlords yesterday deeply upset that my meal was done. I usually don’t get sad when my food is gone, but this is the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. It was the best veggie burger before recent changes, but now it’s even better. Fr. They make every order from scratch and they have an option for everyone.

They just closed their Chinatown location. If y’all don’t show up and support this place, and it closes, I’ll never forgive you.
I went there for the first time yesterday. I walked in and was surprised that the menu only had one item practically. Burger and Fries for $25 (it doesn’t say so, but it includes a drink). Seemed pricey, but after speaking with the cashier it is apparent that they are focusing on great service. You can choose vegan and also skip fries or the burger and discount it appropriately.
