I work across the street from here and have seen the changes first hand, as I am not vegan I can’t comment on the missed wave of 100% vegan food. For a carnivore though, we can honestly say there isn’t a better burger on Fig. Yes the previous owners had Dj nights, as they had a beer and wine license, I don’t think this place sells alcohol anymore.

Overpriced, minimalist (but not in the cool way), and mediocre food. I remember enjoying the vegan burger at the Chinatown burgerlords a few years back. This was a totally different product: mushy, lacking flavor, and boring af. Will not be returning. The only redeeming factor was the excellent service.

The Burgerlord's original patty is one of my favorites as far as vegan burger patties go. I also love the crispy tofu nuggets! One of my favorite vegan burger spots in Highland Park.
