This mango lover, was very excited to see mango lover’s waffles on the menu here, and it did not disappoint with the house made mango sauce. Also, the eggs that I ordered just to balance out the sweetness were the best eggs I’ve ever had. The homemade sauce on the side was 🤤 yum! The non drinker in me also greatly appreciated the variety of mocktails.

Butterfly Pea Cafe is a cute, cozy breakfast and brunch spot located in a Silverlake strip mall. The steak and egg crepe is beautifully prepared and delicious, with tender strips of well-seasoned beef, paired with a sunny side up egg in the center of a large, plate-sized crepe, and served with very tasty, seasoned potatoes and a side salad drizzled with an excellent homemade dressing. The salted caramel latte is outstanding, with the salted caramel component made in-house. The crying tiger fried rice, the lemongrass marinated fried chicken and waffles and the rosemary potatoes are also available. The atmosphere is beautiful, with stylish decor and great background music that creates a very pleasant vibe. The food is excellent, flavorful, and well-served, with beautiful presentation. The menu is thoughtfully designed, with a great selection of Thai-influenced brunch and lunch options and some unique cocktails and mocktails. The coffee creations are fantastic as well. The portion sizes are perfect for sharing with others. The owners are warm and friendly, and the service is attentive and kind. It is one of LA’s best hidden gems, a must visit for Brunch, and a hidden gem of Los Feliz.
