Having a delicious dinner, an excellent view, an excellent atmosphere with very professional service was one of the best experiences I have ever had in this type of restaurant. I highly recommend it, especially because of the explosive flavors of the food, something that you are not normally used to but something that you will love and can become addicted to.

Bring your favorite person or people for an awesome Brunch experience on the roof of The Hoxton Hotel. Great Cocktails and every item on the Brunch menu was great. I tried the following beef and chicken empanadas, crab causa, wood fired skirt steak and eggs, papas huancaina, and picarones for desert.Great views, great staff, great atmosphere. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic food! It’s so inventive and flavorful. Truly a stand out in LA as the taste of the food matches the sleek rooftop ambiance. And the servers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The lomo saltaldo melts in your mouth and the charred cauliflower is fantastic.

Twisted Peruvian food was not my favorite, but it was good. Staff could have dressed better for a Roof top in LA area. Beatiful place.

Absolutely loved Cabra! The empanadas and hot chorizo & queso dip were flavorful and delicious! The Yuca fries were thick, crispy and loaded to perfection. The rooftop served a stunning landscape with beautiful views. My husband and I sat at the bar and the bartender was sweet and helpful. Will be back!

Had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner here at Cabra! It was our first time dining here and we were so impressed. From the food, rooftop atmosphere, and service was so fast. We were blown away by the food. For 2, we ordered 5 tapas and 1 “entree” dish and it was too much to finish, but we were happy to take it home with us.Our favorite dishes were the salmon handroll party and the brussel sprouts with tofu hummus… but all dishes we ordered were great. For drinks we ordered the LA Dreamin and Pisco Sour. Both delicious and easy to drink!Such a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves or go on a nice date!Parking: We parked at Joes Garage for $10. Limited parking.

The atmosphere is very nice and the service is attentive and friendly. The food is extremely heavy and secretly loaded with mayonnaise. The "chorizo cheese" dip is actually cheese flavored mayonnaise. It tasted like bad oil and made us nauseous. There is nothing Peruvian about the menu. Disappointed and do not recommend.

Came here for our anniversary brunch and this is definitely now our go to spot in downtown. The cocktails were amazing, along with the chorizo dip, skirt steak, and empanadas were amongst the best we’ve ever had. Ambiance was amazing on the rooftop but what put this place over the top is Santa our server, she gave the best service and really made it the best anniversary brunch. We will definitely be back!

No staycation is complete without indulging in exceptional cuisine, and The Hoxton's signature restaurant, Cabra, exceeded all expectations. In fact, it is one of the two top restaurants I ate at in 2023. Each dish was a culinary journey, with a menu that seamlessly blended local flavors and Peruvian inspirations. The vibrant atmosphere, rooftop, and attentive service added a layer of enjoyment to this dining experience. My dining experience at Cabra Los Angeles was a symphony of flavors, each dish meticulously crafted to tantalize the taste buds. The menu boasts a delightful array of options, from small plates perfect for sharing to entrées that showcase chef Stephanie Izard's culinary prowess. A particular highlight was the Wood-Fire Skirt Steak (Lomos Saltado), which seamlessly blended textures and tastes in a way that left a lasting impression.Cabra Los Angeles restaurant (located on the rooftop of The Hoxton) in downtown LA is more than just a place to stay and dine; it's an experience that fuses creativity, craftsmanship, and culinary excellence. From the first bite to the final toast, these two leave an indelible mark on your palate and memory. If you're seeking a dining adventure that transcends the ordinary, set your sights on Cabra--a culinary gem in the heart of the City of Angels.

Surprised this place isn’t on more people’s radar. I was blown away by the food. It’s Peruvian style tapas and they have a few larger entrees. There was six of us and we tried about 8 different dishes and all legit were fantastic. It’s a great place for big groups. The tuna and tots, pork shank, and the juiciest chicken skewers I’ve ever had were some of the highlights but they were seriously all so good. It’s on a covered roof top too which an uncovered rooftop bar next door.

Great location and view for sure. But parking in DTLA can be tricky. We had reservations for table of 4, but it took them almost an hour to make our table ready. They were very thoughtful and gave us some appetizer while we were waiting around the pool area. We took many good pictures. The service for our table was not spectacular and I think this is a new trend first hippie vibe places. The menu was very interesting and creative. Overall pretty pricy which is understandable for the location but I expected a little better service and music for that price.

I've been interested in trying Cabra for a while now; being originally from Chicago, I know about Stephanie Izard's empire of "Goat" restaurants, and I was excited to try her Latin-inspired menu. My girlfriend and I actually originally came for the DineLA menu, but we pivoted once we realized that there were other items we wished to try that weren't on it. We ordered the chicken empanadas, Tuna & Tots, the crispy pork shank, papas huancaina. Our favorite was definitely the Tuna & Tots, the contrast between the fresh tuna and the crispy, warm tots was really nice. The pork shank was larger than we expected, and we actually had to take home leftovers cause of how food it was. Service was great and helpful, and the restaurant itself is really nice, sitting on the rooftop of the Hoxton hotel. It's definitely a fun vantage point to peer out over downtown LA. The only downside is the parking situation isn't ideal. There are some nearby parking lots, but I opted for the valet, just due to convenience.
