While the ambulance is always fun and vintage, the experience was unsatisfactory and disappointing. Our server Ellen had a weird, confrontive, and disturbing demeanor. A very strange woman. The restaurant was pretty empty. Us 2 and 3 other customers in the entire restaurant, and yet, the service was awful. It took 40 minutes for a mushroom burger and a rubbing sandwich to be delivered. Why?! The place was almost empty. The food came out hot, which means the order sat unattended to for 35 minutes. Half of the order was left out and had to be reminded. Tables sat dirty the entire time we were there. I hadn't been to Cafe50s in at least 10 years, and my friend Mr. Rob Hodes said 20 years for him, and it will be that long before I go back.

I have one word for the Salmon scramble: WOW!!
It was freaking good. I live in Alaska and I know Salmon and the Salmon was good, just the right amount of onions were in it and the mixture of cream cheese, was all perfect.
The atmosphere is awesome and the staff so nice and prompt.

Toke Mom to appt afterwards we were hungry, google the area where to eat and out of the blue Cafe 50's Diner brought my attention. From the moment we enter, order, severed, enjoyed the food and left it was AMAZING great.

I really enjoyed the place, the food was great and the service excellent. I just have one remark regarding the restroom: it had no signage, the access was almost through the kitchen and service area, which was a bit awkward, and it was quite dirty.

Great restaurant ruined by racist white diners I went here to eat on two different occasions, both Monday nights. And each time there was a loud, obnoxious group of other white people constantly talking about Black people. Like, how is this even allowed? Obsessed much? Businesses should do better as to whom they allow in their establishments. My family and I will not be returning.

This retro diner is full of neon lights and old-school memorabilia. The milkshakes are thick and come in so many flavors. The menu is huge, with everything from pancakes to burgers. Staff is cheerful and attentive. A fun spot for a casual meal with friends
