I split the onion soup, sirloin steak, escargot, and crème brûlée with two friends. The onion soup was the highlight for me. The sirloin steak was a bit tough but the fries were good. I'd never had escargot before and it tasted good but I personally just don't like the texture. The crème brûlée was good but I wish it was a bit smoother. The service was great and they give you crayons so you can draw on the paper on the table that acts as a table cloth.

A bit disappointed... The 4.5 stars on yelp is a bit overrated... It's really a cafe, very casual, old house at the ally type... Although the appearance isn't really my concern... Food wise, bread was cold, escargot was good. Steak was overcooked to by preference, the halibut was mussy... There was only one server in the dining room, although there were only 3 tables of customers... Oh, the restroom is poorly maintained, thats a strip of star... It could be a 2-star review if not the server did his best to make up the bad food experience....

The food is always great and the staff is so well trained they swoop in and out almost before you realize it. Always happy to return. I do miss the charming tea lights they used to have on all the tables - although I'm sure they were a fire hazard!
We used to go here then they closed down. They are back. If you like to take your time while dining and have conversations, this is the place. No rush. Great tasring food.

Stupid good. Don't be concerned w price, its well worth the cost. Have get back here. Desperately in need of new chairs. They need more staff but be patient.

I visted today, for my birthday. The French onion soup was so delicious. We ordered the filet mignon and the NY sirloin. Both meat were tender. The service was very good. The ambiance was intimate, cozy. Will visit again.

Great food. Been to France and even Michelin starred restaurants like Melisse and this place delivers. My wife and I split the beef bourguignon as an appetizer while she has the halibut and I had the pork chop as an entree. All of them were very good. The desserts did not disappoint. The crème brûlée and the Apple Tatine with homemade ice cream was stellar. Even though they were out of the charcuterie and duck...and their espresso machine was broken...the quality of the food and the service all made up for it. Will be going back again!
