THE FOOD WAS SOOOO GOOD!! I saw it on TikTok and wanted to try it and it dint disappoint. The staff were really nice and the store itself is also very cute and aesthetic! The bagel I got was so good and it look really good too, I was drooling after the first bite. It was super fluffy and warm and garlicky!! 😋😋😋

I’d been excited to try it because of the hype around. But my bagel was soggy and salty. The mini bagels were tiny and had a weird after taste. They were also hard to bite into. Not worth the price.

The staff here is friendly and welcoming. Even though I order to take, I always end up enjoying my food on site. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere.

Every time I'm in this side of town I make it a point to stop and grab myself a bagel.
Today, I went with the LA Lox. Definitely one of my favorites. Along side my match drink, left feeling content.

You guys know how to deliver Excellence every single time.

Cute quick spot to grab a tasty stuffed bagel. I like the OG, which is the garlic bagel. I also enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. I enjoyed the egg and cheese sandwich with gochujung aioli. It wasn’t that spicy, but it had a nice flavor profile. They have a good selection of drinks also, but I prefer coffee/matcha from other places. They do have a fun array of snacks and also have cheesecake if you’re craving something sweet. They’re also dog friendly and will offer your pup a pup cup.

The bagels are like no other bagel I've ever had. The flavors, spices and surprising way the fusion all comes together is one of a kind.

We came ~15 minutes prior to closing, staff was rude and blatantly ignored specific request to not cut sandwich in half despite saying they would. They started vacuuming loudly and stacking chairs as a clear message to tell us to leave before we even had our food. Bagels were nothing special, lox seemed weirdly artificial. Bad vibes, won’t return.

The place has street parking and lots of underground parking. A good amount of people on a Wednesday morning. Ordering was through a user-friendly Kiosk. I ordered the L.A. Lox and a 12oz OJ. Lox included smoked salmon, red onions, tomato, cucumbers, dill, fried capers, and cream cheese. They recommend the sesame bagel but I went with the everything bagel. The Lox was good but I would not order the OJ again. They have seating inside and outside. Restroom available. Would come back to try other items and their coffee. Good spot.

Great taste, delicious and fluffly! However, the garlic on the original option is WAYYY TOO MUCH. I ended up getting home with a bloated stomach and gas pains aside from smelly garlic farts.. I realized too much garlic from calic schmear was the culprit since I didnt eat anything further that day other than a lobster roll and a beer towards dinner time... turns out garlic causes:

High fructan content: Garlic, like onions and leeks, is high in fructans. These are a type of FODMAP (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols) that the body lacks the enzyme to digest fully.
Fermentation: The undigested fructans travel to the large intestine, where gut bacteria rapidly ferment them. This process produces excess hydrogen gas, which can lead to bloating, cramps, and odorous flatulence.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): For those with IBS, the fermenting fructans can trigger a flare-up of symptoms, including painful gas, bloating, and abdominal pain.
Sulfur compounds: Garlic contains various sulfur compounds, which are responsible for its distinctive smell. When these compounds are broken down in the digestive system, they produce a pungent odor that can be released as gas.

Bagels are so soft! And delicious! Indoor and outdoor seating. Kiosk orders. Great service. Fast service. Plenty of garage parking. Street parking is difficult to find.
Highly recommend 👍
