Casual and easy dining, yet authentic and good quality food in a marketplace ambience and good view of century city highrises with Hollywood mountain backdrop! What more can you ask for?

I have always enjoyed the food here and like the atmosphere however last nights ambience was off. The music level was extremely high, to the point of being distracting. Nice Italian music would be preferred to energetic disco, unless maybe a Saturday night. Far too LOUD!! Candle was never lit, just seemed like creating the mood was not there.

On a beautiful sunny day we sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air, hummingbirds that flew right next to us and the view of the city all before we even ordered drinks. The food was terrific and the service was even better. Looking forward to coming back soon.

I dont get why such a low rating. The menu has a ton of seafood inspired options and they are all well prepared, even the pizza is good. I ate twice and only bad thing was service slow on a saturday, but everything was well executed. Great limoncello spritz

Food was reasonably nice however at the price point expected more. Service was poor and unpersonable. Wine list was limited.

The ambiance was lovely, the staff was friendly and quick. The tartar had too much oil for my preference, the grilled calamari was fine, pizza seemed to have melted butter on the top and was a bit soggy in places. Loved how thin the batter on the squash blossom was however again, a little bit soggy. The environment was great but for the price I think the portions are small. They offered me and my partner 2 different dessert menus - we didn't partake because again nothing looked exceptional and the prices were high. So we went downstairs to eataly's other store and bought a medium gelato which satiated our sweet craving. All in all 6/10 for food 9/10 for service so I think 7.5/10 overall for the dinner at Capri. Side note : my partner and I don't drink, usually we would just get seltzer maybe with lemon or lime but they were out of seltzer and that prompted us to look at their mocktail list and I wish they would have a mocktail that didn't have syrup in it or wasn't so sugary sweet. We didn't order one but asked a neighboring table about theirs to which they told us it was very sweet (I personally don't love super sweet drinks this is just a preference nothing to do with the rating of my review)

This is our first time and the place had great ambience and amazing service. Food selection was great. Started with the Buffalo Burrata with tomato and foccacia bread. Ordered several entrees to share, Diavola, Scialatielli Allo Scoglio pasta and Ragu Napoletano pasta so we the table can experience multiple food choices. Portion and food temperature was great. Paired with Aperol Spritz. After the entree, we had the tiramisu and expresso. Definitely will be back to try other dishes.

Seating outside had no heater. We were freezing. It took 2 and a half hours to receive a simple four course meal from the pre-planned Valentine's Day menu and every item was received room temperature. The one drink ordered was amazing. And the service was great despite the wait and the food quality. We took most home to reheat later. We did receive a free calamari dish as the restaurant seemed to understand they were taking too much time. But still a huge disappointment considering Eataly is one of our favorite places, and at a $200 price tag. Not great.

Bad service at the hostess stand. Disorganized and confusing for customers

Capri, and all of the Eataly restaurants, are world class Italian food. It's easy to overlook them in Los Angeles surround by the hot new spots, but Eataly never disappoints and it's always easy to get a reservation.

Decided to check out Capri last summer when we were at Eataly during their Vino Days event. We didn't make any reservations but got seated within 5 minutes of waiting. We had our little pug in his stroller so we were seated out on the patio. It was getting warm so the staff moved two of their umbrellas closer to us to give us more shade. We ended up ordering their spaghetto al pomodoro ($19) and the margherita pizza ($21) to share. We had no expectations so we were impressed with the quality of food we had ordered. The pizza came out hot and fresh. We loved the sauce and the fresh mozzarella. The crust was a little burnt but the pizza tasted great. The pasta was also really good too! We really loved how the pasta was perfectly al dente. The pasta sauce was very robust and had a lot of savor to it. Overall really good food from Capri despite the high pricing. The staff were friendly but service was pretty slow. It took us awhile to get our bill. Nonetheless, gorgeous restaurant and we will be returning.

Food is always good here and the staff is friendly. I’m just waiting for the time it’s not a 30 min wait with reservations. The manager needs to be more realistic with the amount of reservations the restaurant can manage.

You can't help but be impressed by how much this place has to offer.Eataly Capri restaurant is located on the second floor at the rear of the store, For faster seating you can make reservations, they do accept walk-ins. The menu has limited items but the food is good. We started with Freshly Shucked Oysters, and we went straight for our main course Halibut Alla Plastra with Spinach was good but the Branzino Allacqua in juice was so delicious that make sure you order some bread to dip in the Branzino. The Patate Fritte was different from your norm Potatoes. Good place to eat. Will be back.
