Been eating at Panini for 15 years. Dtla location is super nice too. Portions are large, prices are fair, service is excellent, everything is yummy.
I eat here regularly because sometimes I just want simple, homemade-style food. Unfortunately, this place can be very disappointing.
As the restaurant has become busier, it feels like the focus has shifted to serving as many customers as possible instead of maintaining consistent quality. The portion sizes are often inconsistent, and sometimes you receive noticeably less food for the same dish.
