I had lunch with a colleague and arrived on opening at noon. It was my colleague's first visit here and it was a sunny clear day that set the stage for a breathtaking rooftop view. Food was delicious. I had a Cobb salad that was fresh and well presented, and colleague had birria tacos that were rather small but very tasty. Servers were friendly and attentive. Will be back!

I always love a visit to Cara Cara! The team there are so nice and, overall, it's such an amazing ambience and vibe: also the views of DTLA are so gorgeous. Definitely worth making a reservation for you and yours.

Had such a great time at Cara Cara. The food was delicious, the service was incredibly kind and attentive without feeling overbearing, and the views are honestly unreal. It's one of those places that just feels special the second you walk in. Already looking forward to going back.

Service was excellent. The staff was so attentive and nice and the host sat us at a nice table. This restaurant was such a great find for me as this was on the list for Dine LA and my first time trying the restaurant. The atmosphere and view were great. Would definitely go back.

The branzino I ordered was extremely salty so I only had a few bites but at least the restaurant took it out from our bill. My husband ordered the salmon well done but it arrived rare. The Cobb salad was very good, though, and the restaurant has an incredible view of downtown LA.

Came here for DineLA. Definitely not worth the value. The atmosphere is okay. Nice rooftop vibe. The service was terribly slow. The portions were half-sized - only gave two silver dollar-sized lamb chops for the entree. The ceviche appetizer was very underwhelming in terms of actual portion of fish inside, and I think they added coconut milk to it? Had a weird after taste. The cocktails were ridiculously expensive ($22 ea). Would not recommend. Definitely not coming back.

Cara Cara is a vibe the service is impeccable, the food is amazing we shared the branzino which was one of the best I've had, broccolini nice tender and spicy , fried chicken well cooked and seasoned, French fries. Drinks are really good. View is amazing of downtown. Will definitely come back for another girls nights

The view wasn't worth the poor service. we hardly saw our waitress. She was not welcoming at all.

2nd time visiting Cara Cara was very different from my first. 1st time was great! I came with a friend yesterday after the Kings game at Crypto and signed up for a reservation for 10:30. Definitely felt rushed from the start. They changed chefs from the first time around and the flatbread that replaced the squash focaccia was ok. I love spice but broccolini was tooo spicy. Fries were good. Mac and cheese was on the drier side, but had great cheesiness. I wasn't able to take pictures of the pretty view because they turned all the lights on to get people out; I recommend not including a 10:30 reservation time slot if you'll just be pushy the majority of the time. We had to chase someone down to get our check, our server at the beginning was good, but it kinda went to crap at the end. Realistically I'll be back, but this time, in comparison to the great first time, was a bit of a disappointment.

They had us wait in the lobby bar and it was bone silent, almost to the pint it was just awkward. NO ambience whatsoever. The Host was inappropriate. Kept touching the bus boys right in front of us. As I was there for employee dinner, so I was hoping for my professionalism. Food was delicious, Harbor. Some meals took a longer to come out. The waitress is all right. She kept looking at our table and annoyance and took 30 min for a drink order. The view is absolutely beautiful .

Lovely roof top, great server. However the food was not great and egregious for what it was. The octopus was not good, small portion and a $32 appetizer. All would have been fine if not for an 8% “wellness” charge on the full bill. There was a $10 fee on our bill for “wellness” of the employees. That's insane. Make sure you check your bill! We had it removed and tipped our server well.

Tony was my server. He made me feel so comfortable, i'll forever request him as my server as long as i attend this establishment. 10000000/10

I took a friend to Cara Cara for a birthday celebration. The ambience and view are spectacular. The hostess and our server made the day exceptional. We ordered the skirt steak, fall focaccia and Brussels sprout salad to share. All plates were presented beautifully. A day to remember. A shout out to staff.
