Time and again, Cara Cara remains one of my favorite spots to show off when we have guests from abroad or out of town. Not just for the delicious food, but also the impressive view onto the DTLA skyline. The staff and the kitchen were very helpful to identify or modify food items to accommodate one guest’s garlic allergy. And despite this modification, everything was very flavorful.

Location Location Location ! Great views of DTLA & a beautiful restored 1920's building. Food was good , staff fumbled a bit as they "changed sections" and we had to wait 20+ minuets to get your drink and food order in. Most troubling was the DJ playing "his party music" way too loud to even hear our waiter or my date. We were seated right under a speaker & asked to switch tables. Even then way too loud. Once we were finished we found a nice quit(er)...
Made reservation on Opentable, got seated right away. The view of downtown LA high-rises is fantastic, the hotel pool is on the side, very typical LA scene: pricey, nothing really stood out. Food came out quick: fried chicken ($26) was good albeit on the salty side. Enjoyed my dungeness crab pasta ($37) and husband also liked the skirt steak with salad on the side ($32).
