CASA LEO Reviews
The food was complexly flavorful, and very thoughtfully presented. The trout escabeche and the mushroom ragout coca were the stand outs to us. However, although we mentioned this was our first anniversary dinner, it went un acknowledged by our the host and server and we felt largely ignored by our waitstaff. So not a good place to go if you’re celebrating something big.
This restaurant was recently added to the Michelin Guide, and it serves some of the best Spanish tapas I’ve had in Los Angeles. The flavors are bold, complex, and beautifully balanced. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. The food is clearly prepared with passion and confidence, just like the name Leo ♌. So far, everything I’ve ordered has been really tasty. I would definitely come back!👍🏼
I rarely leave reviews but this place is a standout in terms of food and service. We arrived and discovered that we, by which I mean I, had booked our reservation for a future date. We were graciously seated despite this. Our waiter welcomed us promptly and was friendly and informative. The food was beautifully prepared and tasty. And the Basque cheesecake? Divine. We will definitely be back.

CASA LEO is a standout Spanish restaurant in Los Angeles, offering an exceptional dining experience. The food is universally praised, with reviewers describing it as "amazing," "fresh," and "full of flavor." The menu features a variety of authentic Spanish dishes, from the delicious Boquerone en Jardinera (white anchovies with bell peppers and lemon) to the flavorful Albondigas (Spanish-inspired beef meatballs).
The service at CASA LEO is also top-notch, with servers like Jordan providing excellent recommendations and attentive care. The ambiance is described as "clean and modern," with a "mellow, retro-chic" vibe that creates a relaxing and intimate setting.
While some reviewers noted the food could be a bit heavy on the salt, the overall consensus is that CASA LEO is a true gem. Standout dishes include the creamy artichoke, the Ancient Grain & Radicchio salad, and the exceptional orange flan with pistachio for dessert. The restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients and expert preparation is evident in every bite.
Whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a lively gathering with friends, CASA LEO delivers an unforgettable dining experience that transports you to the flavors of Spain.
