Great diner. Eat here a few times for breakfast. It's on the ground floor of the Hotel Normandie. The restaurant didn't open until 9am so I wasn't able to get an early coffee. Luckily there's a donut shop directly across the street for the early morning caffeine fix. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. Even with the group of us that had been waiting at the door at 9am. The food was delicious. Basic diner food. Eggs,pancakes, burgers, etc. Eggs are cooked perfectly and I added the hash browns. Totally recommend the hash browns, so good. I also had yogurt, fruit, and granola dish. A big portion of fruit and the yogurt was fresh and delicious. Fries and burgers are also very good. Nice place if you're in the area. Prices and food are good. The staff are all very friendly.

Went in for the Patty Melt. I thought I would ask the guy running the place if he had any suggestions. He said the Patty Melt was great but they also had a burger with pancakes for the buns. Since I am trying to be healthy, I said let's do it! I never got to thank him for the suggestion, but it was delicious! Thanks for the great experience!

I don't know if it's the fault of the restaurant or the building it is a part of, but the air was so bad inside that we had to eat outside. It had that dusty, moldy, mildew smell. I felt sick after smelling it for 5 minutes.
The breakfast burger had a nice presentation, but the hashbrown buns were way too big and oily. My wife ended up with an upset stomach afterward.

Hamburger was ok, fries were too greasy, the ginger beer was the bomb, very delicious I didn’t like the service tho the guy with glasses had an attitude like if he didn’t want us there. Plus they left a guy without shirt entering their restaurant it was so gross to eat while watching this guy’s hairy back and arm pits but anyways.

So when i walk in at 8:30 and you seat the person standing directly in front of me, turn around, grab their menus, and tell me i can only order take out on your way to drop them at their table I’m supposed to be cool about it? Meanwhile the guys in the kitchen are mean-mugging so you’re damn right I’m not gonna put up a fight and order. You wanna close at 8:30, say that. I wouldn’t have left home. You wanna go home early? I get it, but if you’re letting people through the door until 9 then serve them, or change your hours of operation. Denying me for being a minute late and seating the people in front of me is ridiculous. Went to Love Hour down the street. Highly recommend, simply because they serve during their posted hours of operation. Y’all earned this rating.

best burger in LA hands down 10/5 got the 1/4 lb burger n chili cheese fries. their take on chili cheese fries is superior and now my new standard. everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned. delicious.
