I expected a lot more people for Mother's Day brunch but it was only about half full which was perfect for us. The food was good. Service was great. If they had some music playing that would've been the icing on the cake but we enjoyed ourselves.
Booked a reservation, was seated at a bar in a different area, not told the actual restaurant would be unavailable for my res- plus it opened late. Disappointed beyond belief in esterel's lack of communication
While the host and ambiance were exceptional, I must express my disappointment with the food service. Despite our anticipation for a memorable meal, we encountered several issues that detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, the food lacked flavor and freshness. It seemed as though some items may have been prepared in advance, resulting in a loss of quality and taste. Additionally, the wait time of 45 minutes for our food was longer than expected, leading to a sense of frustration and impatience. As valued patrons, my partner and I had hoped for a delightful culinary experience to celebrate the occasion. Unfortunately, the shortcomings in the food service overshadowed an otherwise pleasant evening.

We both enjoyed out dinners at Esterel. We have been staying at Sofitel quite often and will be back.
Great service and ambiance, but very average food considering the price. I love a good buffet, but the food taste and quality I'd say was a $45 value, not $85. The desserts were the best thing of the whole meal, shout out to the pastry chef. As far as the rest of the food: the prime rib was decent, chicken was dry, fish was very flavorful and moist but overly salty, shrimp and brussels sprouts were dry and bland, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese were delicious, orzo salad was very tasty and fresh, also there was a really nice charcuterie spread with some grilled veggies. I would not return here again for any kind of holiday buffet.
The Thanksgiving prefix meal was underwhelming. It was basic turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and mushy green beans all of which was absolutely smothered in gravy, We ordered an additional vegetable side dish to add some texture and flavor to the meal.
We really enjoyed our food here. We had a burger and chicken sandwich with truffle fries. It was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Great option for those staying at the hotel.
No kidding I generally don't go out to dinner and order a hamburger but the Wagyu burger was the best I've ever had! The menu is very good and very reasonably priced. The food was high quality, and the value is exceptional.

As an appetizer I had what was described as sweet potato fries. It was indeed fried sweet potatoes but they were very greasy and accompanied by incredibly salty fried onions which were deep fried to a point were they tasted like salty paper. The lamb chops were over cooked and not seasoned very well. Overall very disappointing food and in no way resembling French cuisine.
Absolute worst service I've had in a long time. We arrived at 5 and were the only customers in the entire restaurant until we left - it took 53 minutes to get a burger and short rib fries. Our server never offered us water refills - my boyfriend had to get up and go to the hostess stand and get our water himself because there were no employees on the entire restaurant floor - nor did she ask us how our meals were at any point. We also had to ask for our check because once our meals were dropped off we were never attended to again. I'd like to reiterate we were the only customers in the restaurant.
The ambiance was amazing and laid back. The food was also delicious. Thank you to all the staff that helped me organize the birthday surprise for my lady, especially Sofia! She was kind and really professional.
Went for Easter brunch. Reserved weeks in advance to get a garden table but when we arrived they couldn't say how long the wait for the garden would be. Took a table on the back patio where there was a lot of street noise including sirens. Had to wait a while to see a server and had to keep checking on orders. Service was friendly but chaotic. Repeatedly offered food we didn't order. Food was delicious.
