Stumbled across Cha Redefine inside the historic Alexandria Hotel in Koreatown.

The tea aka cha here is next level. I highly recommend the Chapuccino at 25% sweet if you’re into more traditional, rich tea flavor without being overly stimulating. Their barley popping boba is unique and super fun — a refreshing change (and might I add healthier) from the usual tapioca. They also offer regular boba, agar jelly, and mochi toppings, which is great if you like to customize your drink.

The atmosphere is clean, minimal, and kind of artsy — definitely a nice spot to chill or work for a bit. Outdoor seating as well to get some vitamin D.

Parking tip: It’s downtown LA, so parking is a pain. Street parking is nearly impossible, but there’s a lot right at the building. It’s $20 for self-park, which isn’t cheap, but it saves the headache.

Would definitely come back for a quality tea fix in a cool, under-the-radar spot.

went from Bay Area to here and friends are treating me boba all around the city. This place is one of the best.

I am always so happy with the product from Cha. I used to order from the one in Pasadena but it closed down. I had the chance to visit the LA location and wow! Service was outstanding. I will have to update my review when I have the name of the employee who assisted me because he was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Will return back soon for my fix of the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte with extra roasted pecans 🙂‍↔️

Great taste refreshing and authentic

This has to be one of the best boba spots in LA. Unlike a lot of places that make boba drinks taste like pure syrup, Cha redefine makes their drinks with quality. Was sooo yummy!

Undeniably one of the greatest tea place. Beyond average tea quality. Dahongpao chappuccino is a must try.

Bad thing is the location is not ideal. Looks of pee and weed smells around the block. Luckily the store has always closed doors and you can just stay inside.

They made my coffee so hot that I could not drink it for over 30 minutes. I took a sip when I left the store and my tongue has been burnt for two days. There is no reason to make coffee scalding hot like that to where it is undrinkable.

Ordered boba online at 1:02pm, earliest pickup was 1:40pm. I figured they must be very busy. Got to the shop at 1:30pm and the place was empty and the drinks were sitting in a carrier, ready to go. By the time I took a sip, they were warm! The drinks probably were made immediately and sat on the table for half an hour. Why make the pickup time so late when the place is dead? I don't get it
