This store seems to be closed. It's moved to another store. Don't come here in vain. Google information has not been updated.

We went in on a Saturday afternoon, and almost all the sides on the menu were unavailable due to inventory issues. The fountain machine was out of service, and they didn’t even have tap water to offer. We ordered two signature chicken sandwiches and fries. The chicken in the sandwich was not bad, but the fries were overcooked and didn’t taste fresh. A little disappointed with the experience, and we probably wouldn’t come back.

This wasn’t the first Macho Burger branch I have been to (there is also a Macho Burger in San Gabriel), and the quality of food in this branch was not of the same quality! I actually enjoyed the one in San Gabriel more. Nevertheless, the place and bathroom was clean. Customer service was alright.

Macho spicy chicken sandwich (7/10):
The bun is great, the chicken patty is also delicious ?. However, the breading was hard like rocks and tasted bland, it felt like they might have been over-fried! I would suggest you peel off the crusts and only eat the meat (I know, peeling the outer layer is a lot of work, but you would enjoy your meal much better)!

Fries (9/10):
Okay, this was great! The fries tasted fresh and weren't too salty.

California chicken wrap (7/10):
I thought for the price you pay, the portion wasn’t reasonable compared to the sandwiches. It tasted great, though! The sauce was tangy and the wrap was mildly chewy!

Spicy chicken wings (7/10):
Again. Same theme throughout! Great tasting, but the breading was not easy to chew! However, the seasoning was great and the meat tasted great!

Overall, if you are curious, you could definitely give it a try but don’t come in with high expectation and you'll be fine!

The food here is not as good as the Macho burger in San Gabriel. They need to do a better quality control. The meat is super hard and dry here. We went here only because it’s closer but I would definitely go San Gabriel next time. BTW their ordering machine is not working when we are trying to order a combo meal. The waiter here is nice though, he tried his best to help us when the machine is not working. Otherwise I will give 3 stars instead of 4.

I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and waited for over 20 minutes. While they might have delivery orders to be taken care of, I have been to another branch which was way busier and still able to fulfill a larger order in way less time.

Nevertheless, while I think the other branches still offer better food quality, their fried chicken are still killing it compared to most fried chicken I tried. 9/10!

Hidden gem alert.
One of the best fried chicken in the area.

The 2 piece chicken is new on their menu, it is actually even better than the chicken sandwich they are known for.

Very juicy chicken, I wish the place was more popular. One of the best spicy chicken sandwiches in LA, recommended if you live close to UCLA.

Oh my God, isn't this the earliest KFC and McDonald's in China? Be sure to order the Spicy Chicken Thigh Burger and the Old Beijing Chicken Wrap. Exactly the same. So delicious.

We had dinner there with our girls. We all loved it, food was really good. Preparation time is quite slow but the result is amazing, the meat is very tender, crispy and buns taste good. I love it better than KFC which meat is much drier. Too bad we haven't got this food chain in France.

What a total let down. Great web presence but the food was mediocre, late (ordered online and was available x minutes after order vs the 15 minutes promised) and otherwise unremarkable. Only two staff behind the counter so service slow and no one clean up the dining area which had tables full of partially eaten food. Online ordering looked good but didn’t allow for much changes. And they messed up the order forgetting an item. Unlikely to return.
