Service was great, but certain food items were lackluster given the descriptions and price point. Wood ear mushrooms in the wood ear mushroom cucumber salad were remarkably tasteless and the vegetarian zongzi was quite bland, even with the provided sugar. Maybe the zongzi should not be offered as a veg option, without the taiwanese sausage and duck egg. Most of the entrees came in small serving sizes. Dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, and scallop crudo were good, but not sufficiently...
We have eaten at Chifa several times and it is always a pleasure. The dining room is beautifully designed, the food is unique and delicious. I highly recommend the prawns (must eat with head on!!) The staff is delightful & we always have a great experience. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!
