They had the most creative and delicious tacos for a while, but yesterday I went in to order an old favorite (the ahuevo breakfast taco) and it had disappeared from the menu, along with all of the special tacos that made this place unique. In its place was a very basic menu with things you can find anywhere. I hope they bring back the old choices—they were amazing and tantalizing! Service was, as always, great.

All other Taco restaurants are on notice! There is a new player in town. I consider myself a food connoisseur and I've had 20 of the 22 items on the menu, everything is AMAZING! The staff is awesome, and the food continues to exceed expectations. Well worth a visit, and City Tacos may quickly steal your heart, and turn you into a diehard fan like me! Quite possibly the best tacos in the world!

Vegetarian options: Great veggie options, especially the Portobello!

Landing in LA for a conference, we were wandering near the village, hungry for something new. That's when we stumbled upon City Tacos, a place that quickly made me envious of every USC student lucky enough to have this culinary delight right on their doorstep. My initial envy, spurred by the thought of students enjoying these tacos on the regular, turned into sheer amusement once I weighed the costs of tuition against my taco indulgence. Let's just say, visiting occasionally...
