One of the better vegan options near USC. They have a few dedicated vegan tacos, but many of their tacos, sides, and one burrito can be made vegan. (You do have to explicitly confirm this with the cashier, and be clear that vegan = no dairy at all.) the food isn’t too expensive (compared to other places in the Village) and tastes pretty good.

They had the most creative and delicious tacos for a while, but yesterday I went in to order an old favorite (the ahuevo breakfast taco) and it had disappeared from the menu, along with all of the special tacos that made this place unique. In its place was a very basic menu with things you can find anywhere. I hope they bring back the old choices—they were amazing and tantalizing! Service was, as always, great.

All other Taco restaurants are on notice! There is a new player in town. I consider myself a food connoisseur and I've had 20 of the 22 items on the menu, everything is AMAZING! The staff is awesome, and the food continues to exceed expectations. Well worth a visit, and City Tacos may quickly steal your heart, and turn you into a diehard fan like me! Quite possibly the best tacos in the world!

Vegetarian options: Great veggie options, especially the Portobello!
