I’ve been coming here for almost five years. Their ham and cheese croissant used to be one of the best in LA with perfectly laminated dough, thick ham, and plenty of cheese. The shell was a bit dense and heavier than other bakeries, but that’s actually why I enjoyed it. It had a unique texture and feel.
Sadly, the quality has declined a lot in recent years. The croissant is now much smaller, dry, and skimpy on fillings. Today it honestly tasted like an airport croissant.
Coffee, Swedish buns, and other food are still great, and the staff are always kind. But the shop often seems understaffed and the dining area is not as clean as before. I still want to support them, but the overall experience no longer feels as special as it once did.

The food is so high quality and the bagels are perfect. Canβt forget about that beautiful bacon. It melts in your mouth. Itβs also a great atmosphere and food arrives fast. This is a must go again for me. 100 percent recommended by me!π€€π

one of my favorite places ever for pastries, and the coffee is genuinely good too. Parking is nearly impossible during busy times
The Tunisian tuna sandwich is delish but other menu items arenβt as great
I am submitting this as my informal petition to please open a location in the Bay Area. I miss all your baked goods, and am sorry I didnβt appreciate you enough when I lived nearby. I thought thereβd be other bakeries, other breads. But I cant sleep until Iβve had your cardamom buns again; and when I do I dream of them. Send help.

Very simple, but well-executed breakfast sandwich. Not something to go out of your way for, but if you're already in the area, and the wait isn't too long, this is a great thing to order.

The workers are really nice, but this place is so overpriced and they charge for everything. If you get a bagel with cream cheese, they barely add any cream cheese and they charge you for extra. The coffee is small and it's at least $6. The bread is very good.
