Cocohodo Los Angeles

On my last trip to LA, I ventured around K-town and came upon this stand inside one of their malls. I wondered what these walnut treats were like and on a whim, I ordered a handy box. They even spoke to me in Korean, but unfortunately, I don't speak it even though I have watched K-dramas extensively for years! I only know little phrases which probably wouldn't help me at all! Cocohodo is a chain from Korea. I first had it there a decade ago and was thrilled to find that they have it here. If you're into red bean inside your pastry shaped like a walnut with ample amounts of walnuts you can taste in each bite, this is the place for you. In fact, i don't want this type of pastry anywhere else, as it's always inferior. Trust me. This brand makes it best. These also make a good gift. Each piece is wrapped individually and the presentation is also on point.

why doesn't this place have more hits i wonder...it's delicious treats. great service. i think the owner is the guy who helped me. very accommodating and polite person. first time trying and yelp was actually good for something. cash only unless you charge more than $10.
