What a fantastic spot! I just stumbled into this place after spending the day Christmas shopping at the Grove with my girlfriend and in need of a cold beverage. The staff were great at suggesting drinks and made us feel right at home as we settled into this upside-down world. I could not recommend this place more. Top notch staff with great knowledge in spirits. Everyone was friendly and kind. What we need this holiday season! Do yourself a favor and check this spot out. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in here not too long ago out of curiosity. The place looks great and the music alone could keep you hanging around for hours. But the energy from some of the staff toward women felt a little too forward for my comfort. It’s the kind of thing that can turn a fun night into one where you’re constantly on alert.
If the bar tightened up the professionalism a bit, I think it could really become a go-to spot. I’m all for a good time — just want to feel like everyone working there is on the same page about keeping the environment respectful.

This bar has a great setup and a fun energy, but the manager the bearded bartender wearing a button-up shirt really changed my opinion of the place. From what I saw, his behavior toward women customers often crossed into territory that felt intrusive and unprofessional. It wasn’t just one moment it was consistent enough that it stood out and made the atmosphere feel tense instead of comfortable.
A bar should be a place where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves without having to worry about the staff’s behavior. I truly hope management pays closer attention to how guests are being treated, because respect and safety should always come first. Until then, women should stay aware and trust their instincts here the drinks aren’t worth feeling on edge.

Noah and Ian are honestly the reason we come to Cold Shoulder. Not only are they the friendliest bartenders, but they are super intuitive and know tastes and flavours like no other! I highly recommend this place to individuals and groups. If you want to try new flavours or fusions, and have a great time — this is THE spot! We got to create our own pina colada rendition with Noah - and it was like no other pina colada we tried!!

Stumbled on this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it looks like a dive bar (which I also love), but inside it’s a stylish cocktail lounge with great vibes, cool decor, and great craft cocktails. Staff is pro and welcoming, and the hidden door to the bar next door is a fun surprise. Not sure what the couple bad reviews are about, some people are just professional complainers — this spot is great. It definitely doesn’t deserve a 3.9 score so I’m adding some good positivity.
I visited last weekend and had an uncomfortable experience. The bartender, who also claimed to be the manager, made me feel uneasy with his behavior. He had long hair and a beard, and his demeanor came off as creepy and unprofessional. I also overheard him mentioning being accused of something, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I didn’t feel safe having him serve me drinks. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise other women to be cautious.

Terrible service, bartender were totally judging that I came in by myself. They just stared at me awkwardly when I walked in. Zero conversation or acknowledgement while I sat at the bar, they just continued talking to each other and looked annoyed when I asked to order. Will not be returning.
