Simplicity and quality, delicious food and an immaculate storefront, you don’t want to miss out on an LA eating experience that will truly satisfy! Totally sumptuous, and worth a return visit for sure, I’ll be ordering the entire menu next time I visit. Totally sumptuous to die for fried fish, sides did not disappoint as well.
Moderately priced in comparison to the quality.
Just your old school, fried seafood options. I'm a fan of their fried catfish and fried salmon. They have a pretty good selection of seafood options and also affordable combination plates.
Just got my online order to go, got home and my mouth is on fire the bottle of salt the cook added. It's soo bad I can't eat the fries,& the shrimp it was like they got off on messing up this to go order. That couldn't have been following a recipe. I'm glad my friend made some coleslaw & macaroni salad it helped. Look at that old dried out fish! It's supposed to be red snapper!! We spoke to Tim and he really wanted to argue about you requested extra seasoning, once again the cook should know difference between seasoning & salt. I'm done ! Go melt some snow with all that salt 🧂!!!!!! I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone, taste it before you leave I'm warning you!
As a southerner, the catfish was fried a lot harder than I'm used to. The crust was thick and crunchy. It didn't taste bad, just not my style.
The fish is excellent.
The food's good and they accepted EBT Snap, but they seemed to cheat on the price and overcharged the EBT card, probably adding tax!
Consistent goodness. Does not disappoint. A family fav.
Thankfully the filet of soul was not hard but 3 wings are not the same as 3 party wing pieces which is what I got. The red velvet cake was disappointing to say the least. My order was not kept in a heat keeper, it was warm, not hot. Fish doesn't hold heat well.
Prices in store are different than website, they tell you that was previous owner, but they don't change it
Food is good, seafood is fresh, just add some hot sauce to beans and greens
Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered oysters and it was little broken pieces vs the whole oysters. Taste and was good
