They used to have more flavor on their dish. What’s more disappointing to me is that they will take 1 piece of red snapper, cut it into 3 pieces, & call it a 3 piece fish dinner. They used to take 1 piece and cut it into 2, now it’s 3. This is where they’ve lost me as a customer.

Not only this, but I studied marine biology and when I was getting ready to take a bite of my fish, I noticed it was cooked with a cooked worm so I didn’t eat it.
Fish is fresh and top quality however the prices have made it far less enjoyable than it used to be. Collins has been in this spot for around 20 years and the food has always been delicious but the gentrification of the neighborhood has allowed the owners to feel like they can charge exhorbanant prices for what used to be a local favorite.
I hadn't visited Collins in years. It's changed. The place is clean and welcoming. The food was, eh. The fish had a chemically smell, that was kinda off putting. After I removed it from the bag, it was better. The fish was cooked well, it was moist but under seasoned.
I'll cook my own fish from now on.
