I'm a local event planner and Crateful is my go to for catering. The team is professional, flexible, friendly, reliable, helpful, and very easy to work with - which is very important when juggling so many aspects of an event. And of course the food is delicious! I highly recommend them!

All I can say is what they say the tasting menu is - is WORLDS apart from what they serve at your wedding. I wish I could post pictures here of how everything went wrong for our wedding at the Att sky deck buildings in early 2023. Horrible crew. Rude chef. Rude captain. Every time I wanted to talk to the owner he kept passing me to his assistant. You are a scam Crateful!

Exceptional in every way! I have used the Crateful team for over 10 corporate events and they are fantastic. Incredible food and always a pleasure to work with- look no further, they will deliver an exceptional experience.

I used emanuele ponzo and his team for a cocktail hour in 2022, he was one of the most difficult people and disrespectful I’ve ever worked with. What he did great was make promises all the way up until one week prior to the event and when he had the chance to unmark the proposal last minute so my client wouldn’t have time to change anything due to time constraint. We felt played. Horrible customer service and just mediocre quality of food.

All I can say is If the owner has sucked the blood out of you you’ll get High quality stuff. If you’re new or don’t pay his markup well enough you get low quality stuff. He underpays his staff and everyone is working illegally under 1099 lol. Horrible cheap quality. CratefulIs anything but Crateful. Hope people see the truth on this company that steals from people and the owner goes down.

My husband and I recently used Crateful for catering our recent wedding. Our guests to this day are still talking about the cheese wheel and how great the veggies were. Our guests, as well as us, loved all of the food and I wish we had leftovers. Crateful is one of the more expensive caterers out there but it was delicious and the set up they did was gorgeous. We did three passed trays and three live food stations (carving station, pasta bar and veggie/salad station).It was also helpful that our wedding planner and our venue had both worked with Crateful before.

Where to start? Emanuele catered my fabulous wedding at the Houdini Estate here in Los Angeles. He and his entire team at Crateful Catering were AMAZING! First of all, I'm an Italian American - so it was important for me to have authentic Italian food. They knocked it out of the park with a number of Italian dishes including a fabulous Cacio e Pepe. That said, we also had a mix of appetizers, a charcuterie table, sliders and even a taco bar - so it was a really well-rounded presentation that gave our guests a number of options. Emanuele personally took the time to attend our pre-event walkthrough. He was also very responsive including answering after hours calls/texts when I needed to reach him - which is great because I'm usually busy with my companies during the day. He was available to talk when I was, which if you know anything about planning a wedding, you know that it can be stressful at times if you can't reach your vendors. I never had that problem with Emanuele. At one point we even had a little issue with the venue in terms of some contractual/layout items pertaining to the catering kitchen - and Emanuele was able to personally call in some favors with the venue owner to make a few things happen for us. In all, if you're looking for a standup guy, with a great company, to provide excellent customer service and even better food - particularly if you want anything Italian - don't hesitate to go with Emanuele Ponzo and Crateful Catering. Crateful organized the Reception for the Italian National Day, taking care of everything. It was an exquisite reception, beautifully set up, with delicious authentic Italian food, and the greatest attention to details. Our planning team, 'Cause We Can Events, had a last minute launch party for a client in February. We reached out to Crateful to see if they could help us out with a 25-day turnaround. They worked with us on a fun menu that worked well for the crowd with the best ingredients. Their team was very hands on when it came to the pre-planning of this event and were available for calls, walkthroughs, and more. On the day of the event, their team showed up on time and professional. The event was a huge success and Crateful played a big role in that.

Emanuele and Crateful Catering were awesome partners to work with for our wedding. After thoroughly evaluating over 20 caterers, we had booked Crateful for our wedding over 1.5 years ago, but we'd had to delay it until recently for obvious reasons. Throughout the entire time, Emanuele was flexible, responsive, and professional as we navigated the pandemic together. Even when our guest count dropped from 175 to 125 due to the Delta variant and other life events, Emanuele worked with us to make the experience even better for the guests who could make it.His creative vision, attention to detail, and dedication to his craft are second to none. We asked for cuisine to reflect the diverse countries we've visited, and he presented an amazing menu of tasty and beautiful options. The food was some of the best I've ever had at any wedding. Our venue (City View Penthouse at South Park Center) was on the 30th floor of a skyscraper but required the kitchen to be set up in a parking lot outdoors, with all food being transported via elevators. Not a problem for Crateful, as Emanuele directed his staff towards flawless execution in an extremely challenging environment. Even though we booked a different vendor for bartending, Crateful stepped in to cover some of their missteps during the event. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer to make our event so memorable.
