This place was so good! I live really close to this place and I always walk past it. A couple of days ago I decided to go in and check it out, I was very surprised at how good it was, they give nice portions too ! I had the chicken tikka masala and curry chicken! Very flavorful! Also the lentils, I recommend this place ! The owner was nice too

Hidden Indian food jem!!! Just had it for the first time today and this was worth the bad parking! Peter chicken, butter chicken and mango Lassi were fantastic. I'd definitely come here again.

The owner is from Delhi. Very polite nature, we talked a lot. Good Indian vibes paintings on the wall. The cook is also from India.Service was a bit slow as they had some catering orders that day. Otherwise, I liked the samosa. Hygienic. Costly but good quantity of the tea. $6.6 for samosa and chai.

I can't express enough how much I adore Curry Boys DTLA! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the most inviting ambience. But let's talk about the real star--the food! Their butter chicken is unparalleled, the pepper chicken is divine, and the garlic naan is to die for. And don't even get me started on their cabbage--it's out of this world! I've practically become a regular, dining there at least four times a week. The staff is like family; their customer service is beyond exceptional. They're always warm, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. I even follow them on social media, and they never fail to respond to my DMs, providing the daily menu without fail. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine served with a side of warmth and hospitality, Curry Boys DTLA is the place to be! Feel free to adjust any details or add more specifics if needed!

As a food enthusiast, when you’re going for Indian food (or any food of another culture) you have to ask yourself if you want the authentic version, or the version abominably bastardized to suit the McDonaldized, deprived American palate. If you’ve determined that you want the authentic version at a reasonable cost, Curry Boys is for you. The owners and chefs have one thing you can count on: integrity; and you’ll taste it—no—you’ll experience it in your being. They will not skimp out on ingredients, they refuse to cut corners just to increase profits, and they exist on Spring street, whether you come or not, unabashedly celebrating Indian culture and flavors. Go ahead. Get a 3-item box. Now, pay attention. Those are real, robust, high quality spices and ingredients, and they layer into your palate, wave after wave. That’s what all Indian food should be, but it’s rare in America. The service is excellent, they will let you sample, the flavors are truly beautiful, the warmth exuding from the owners is charming, and the integrity is beaming. I would say ‘go support this family owned restaurant’, but honestly, that’s silly in this case. Go support yourself by treating yourself to a meal from Curry Boys. You will leave knowing you discovered a true Los Angeles gem.

Unfortunately didn't find it very good. Sauce was watery and the chicken was tough. Was so hoping it would be good. Will try other items in the future.

Ever since my Indian friend moved back to India. I have not had such great traditional Indian food. Not only are the people very friendly. But the food is amazing. I ate it in under 5 minutes.

Such yummy Samosa's! It was such a pleasant ambience. It's extremely close to the Last Bookstore. My husband and I were looking for a place to grab some food and this was the perfect place. The service was amazing, the location was very clean, and the food tasted so fresh and delicious. Very grateful we ran into this gem of a restaurant. Will definitely be coming back!

The best Indian food restaurant in DTLA. Tried the dahi bhalle (10/10) the chicken biryani (9/10) pain puri (6/10) papdi chaat (9/10). Will definately go again soon to try more items.
