Recently checked out Daedo Sikdang — the vibes are definitely upscale. They’ve nailed the presentation and aesthetic: open kitchen view, super high ceilings, and tons of natural light. Parking is valet-only and somewhat limited, but there are a few neighborhood spots nearby if you’re lucky.
I went around 6 PM on a Wednesday with a reservation, and it wasn’t crowded at all — you could probably walk in without one.
Since it was my first time, I wanted to try a little of everything. We each got the Daedo Cut, which includes Certified Angus Beef: ribeye roll, ribeye cap, and ribeye strip. We also tried the galbi, which was probably my favorite — super flavorful and perfectly marinated. One thing I really appreciated is that they cook everything for you, so no need to stress if you’re new to KBBQ. Everything came out perfectly.
They don’t serve a ton of banchan, but they’re known for their kkakdugi (cubed spicy radish — basically kimchi’s cousin), and it was solid. The steamed egg was fluffy and definitely recommendable. My personal favorite was the yolmu cold noodle — the cold broth is the perfect refreshing finish after all the grilled meat.
Overall, definitely worth trying for the experience and quality, though I wouldn’t say it’s a “must” or life-changing. Still, a great spot if you’re looking for a clean, elevated KBBQ night.
Harry was awesome server
Good luck on your studies!!
Loved your service
Thank you
This is the best steak I’ve ever had in my life.
Good restaurant! Expensive..
Visited for date night on a Sunday right when they opened and there was plenty of seating. The vibes of this place were immaculate. We got the Daedo and classic cut, beef tartare, galbi, yukaejang, cold noodles, and the pancake. Our set also came with steamed egg and kimchi fried rice.
The food was fantastic and the workers cook the meat on a cast iron skillet which was really unique. They even use a thermometer to ensure the temperature of the grill is optimal.
Fav items:
-cap was def the best cut
-beef tartare is a must!!
-the crispy barley on the fried rice was very unique and tasty
We had so much food leftover that made for a solid lunch/dinner the next day.
The workers were incredibly nice. And by the time we finished, the restaurant got pretty crowded so I recommend going early if you don’t have a reservation.
Can’t wait to be back!
Nice kbbq spot with excellent cuts of meat and high quality ingredients. Delicious recipes and friendly, attentive wait staff that will cook and cut the meat for you.
Really good meat. Focus on beef. We had someone who didn't eat beef and had to find other options. Service was excellent. Felt there was lots of attention to our cooking needs. Also, found an amazing bottle of wine from their wine list. We will be coming back.
Really delicious top quality meat. Literally melts in your mouth. They cook it for you too. Great selection. And super tasty ice cream in the end with rice paper
We had a great experience. Service was amazing, the restaurant was very clean. The food was great.
The service was exceptionally good and the food was really good. One of the best and authentic Korean premium bbq experiences in CA!

Favorite Korean restaurant with the best quality meat and wonderful service. We always go at least once a week!
I'm really impressed by the quality of the meat, service and karaoke room. It's the nicest karaoke place I have ever been to. Be sure to check it out!

Food was alright but service was absolutely horrible.
We had a 5pm reservation. They didn't seat us until 5:20pm so we approached the hostess several times. She commented that they were getting the tables ready even though we had made reservation well in advance. Their attitude was dismissive and casual.
Once we were seated, the server lady had a very negative attitude. When we asked for water she sarcastically scoffed asking whether we wanted hot or cold water. Throughout the whole serving experience, she gave us attitude. When we asked for certain things, she had a sarcastic throughout most of the dinner.
The only person who was professional was the lady at the bar. Other than her, the service was so poor we will not be returning in spite of the good food.
