Dante Fried Chicken Ghost Kitchen was most certainly worth the stand by. In case you're not ready to stand by in line, I would utilize DoorDash and tip them truly useful for waiting(I think the "Dasher" who will stand by in line will have numerous orders so don't feel really awful, yet give them a decent tip for saving you a great deal of time)

It's a pretty solid fried chicken but I just didn't feel like it was worth the 40-50 min wait, it's a pretty good fried chicken but nothing like Howlin' Ray's!I wouldn't go out of my way to try this and don't feel like it's worth waiting an hour for but definitely worth trying. I would get it again IF I AM IN THE AREA and there is no WAIT but I wouldn't wait in the line for this.

seriously the best freaking tenders, trust the reviews the line is worth it and it honestly looks scarier than it actually is. Have a good conversation with your friend or whoever you're with, and enjoy the best chicken tender experience of your life. I got the combo 3, with the slider xxtra hot and the tender hot, with the kale slaw.

The OG. A legend. These guys don't need my praise but they get it anyway because this experience was amazing. Eat in and sit at the counter if you can. The guys will hook you up with friendly conversation, freebies, and more or less a show since it's really fun to watch them work together to prep their orders. Validated parking in the lot is clutch because parking in the area is tough. You might want to look at a map in advance because the garage entrance is a bit difficult to find.

Best place to get your Korean fried chicken. There's really no other neighborhood in the area that you could get something like this unless you're in K-town. I've always preferred the non-spicy, soy/garlic flavored chicken because it's less messy to the fingers but the half and half option to get a bit of both has traditionally been the MO our family adopts when we have chicken day for dinner. good eats and they provide delivery too as long as you're within a certain driving distance. I don't really recommend getting anything else - it's simply not worth the $$. Stick with the chicken and make some rice or order some separately and it should make for a hearty meal.

Amazing stuff. At first, i was not sure how they are going to improve on the perfection that is Korean fried chicken, but they did it. Not only is the chicken amazing, but all the sides and sweets are also on point Highly recommend you try. Pick up at Cassell's

THIS IS THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN PLACE. I seriously can't order it or I'll eat the entire box. zero self-control when it comes to their mac and cheese too. It's so good, I can't even write an accurate review. Words just flood my brain.

maybe you're in an uber right now and your friend just texted some s*** about this fried chicken ghost kitchen. maybe you're in a lyft cause you deleted uber because the owner supported trump. your homie just sent you a link about dante's and she was staring eye emoji at the vegan options. maybe you have your own ride and you're stopped at a red light, searching "#ribs" on ig and you should get off your phone. FOCUS. order that s**** order it now. the vegan options are stellar. the smoked meats are stupid. the chicken is fried. sides on sides on sides. quit blowing it. why waste time . order DFC.

So this fried tofu thing? I had never had any expectation of it. I mean it's tofu not chicken! I just ordered 6 pcs along with a dozen of actual fried chicken. Guess what, the tofu was gone in no second, and the chicken is still in my fridge. They made it so good and light, I could not believe the taste. Of course there is a difference. I wouldn't say it can replace chicken completely, but is very good in a different way. AND THERE IS THE HOT SAUCE. I am going to order more tofu just so I can eat the left over chicken with that sauce, and of course the delicious fried tofu.

Judging from the history on its website, Dante Fried Chicken has existed in various bicoastal incarnations in New York and Los Angeles for nearly twenty years: a private pop-up party, a food truck, a brick-and-mortar restaurant, a catering and event specialist, a roving dining event, and what it is now (as of November 2018): a "ghost kitchen" that fulfills delivery and pick-up orders through online ordering sites like GrubHub, Caviar, and Postmates as well as serving its menu to diners at Cassell's in Koreatown's Hotel Normandie. DFC (I'm not typing out that full name over and over) offers creative renditions of Southern food, some of which work better than others. The most famous dish is the Sock It to Me Chicken Tenders, which are coated in a breading made up of a hodgepodge of various quirky items. Ingredients I have been able to pick out over the course of several purchases include: ‣ Mini shredded wheat cereal ‣ Cheerios cereal ‣ Flamin' Hot Fritos corn chips ‣ Slivered almonds ‣ Celery seed ‣ Sesame seeds (black and white) ‣ Pumpkin seeds (pepitas) ‣ Nori (dried seaweed) ‣ Rolled oats ‣ Various herbs ― most notably, rosemary This could be a bit of a mine field for diners with allergies; most people with peach or tree nut allergens don't have to worry when ordering fried chicken, but those slivered almonds rule out the Sock It to Me Tenders for anyone with that sensitivity. Despite their mixed-up appearance, the flavor is fairly uniform (until one gets a rosemary needle). The tenders are very tasty and well-seasoned ― except they are quite salty. I've ordered these tenders three times, and each time, the salinity has been at the same level: too high. If DFC could take the salt level down, these would be much better. I can do without the Apricot Crack Sauce that DFC packs with orders ― it's all mouth-numbing heat with not much flavor otherwise. The Parmesan Parsley Sauce seems a much better accompaniment to the tenders to my taste. The Chocolate Stout Brisket was good, but not nearly worth the exorbitant price tag: I'm suspicious I got a full half-pound, and even if I did, it was not worth $17. (I'd say $10 seemed more reasonable for the portion size and quality.) The way it was served left it soaking in juices and more braised than barbecued, and the meat was a little dry. On another order, I got the 15-Spice Smoked Spare Ribs, which have at least seven spices too many: The flavor of the well-cooked pork is completely obliterated by the seasoning. I'm an okra lover, so I leapt at the chance to order the Peanut Garlic Okra Fries ― it's so rare to find fried okra in L.A. This was the most disappointing dish of all from DFC: The okra apparently was baked to be low-fat and to reduce the vegetable's natural mucilage (the notorious "slime"), but it just seemed like flavorless dehydrated okra more than anything else. I barely ate any of it and eventually threw the bulk of it away. The best item I had? The OG Bone-In Fried Chicken, which DFC no longer seems to be offering. That's a shame because it was some near-perfect fried chicken. It was simple and flavorful, without any weird spices or breakfast cereals in the breading ― just traditional fried chicken done wonderfully right. It's the kind of chicken Crack Shack wishes it could make, and DFC didn't even need to undercook it. And that speaks volumes about Dante Fried Chicken: When they drop the crazy gimmicks and experiments and just cook fried chicken, they make exceptional food. If they focus less on the crazy recipes and more on the fundamentals, I think DFC could become some of the best food in town.

Just tried their new food from their new home base at Cassell's Hamburgers. We picked up the food and it did not disappoint! Chicken tenders are bomb dot com. The coconut honey biscuit is absolutely delightful. The banana pudding is heavenly and I want to marry it. Definitely give Dante's a try for pickup or delivery.

Ordered for the first time last night from their new home base at Cassel's. This food is amazing. It's crack. Portions are huge. Chicken wings - hot sauce is out of control. Mac N Cheese side - usually when this is a side, it has no flavor. This was the most delicious mac 'n cheese I've ever had. Crispy, creamy, savory. Perfect. Bean and corn salad side was refreshing. Nice complement to the rest of the food. The biscuit. Oh yes. This is magic stuff. It's like grandma had a one-night-stand with Tinkerbell. Plus they threw in a free banana pudding. So good. The food here is quality, price is reasonable, and I'm a slightly fatter, much happier man for it.
