Detroit Pizza Depot (DTLA)

Detroit style pizza is my favorite style of pizza. I would say that this is very solid. While it isn't the best I've tried of this style, you also can't go wrong.

FYI this location is just a pick up location! No dine in! Best pizza in Los Angeles! Always get service with a smile from any of the crew. Definitely a food staple in the community! Let's go!

Stopped here on a whim after a show because everything else near our hotel would be closed. We ordered The Corvette and their Garlic Cheesy bread.
So we ordered and waited a bit for our food and rushed to the car.
Initially my girlfriend and I were going to start eating in the car we were so hungry but once we opened the bread box and saw some of the most beautiful garlic bread I'd ever seen we knew this deserved our full attention and nothing less so we waited the entire twenty minutes drive to the hotel to eat our food.

Tldr: garlic bread so pretty it'll make you feel bad for eating it but so delicious you'll wish you got more and a pizza so sweet and spicy you don't know why you've ever settled for dominos.

I ordered the Pepperroni and cheese and it was the SALTIEST pizza i've ever had! Couldn't even finish a slice. Don't understand the raving high reviews. Stay away.

First time trying their pizza today and wow did it taste authentic! My parents are from Michigan (and most of my relatives still live there) so I’ve had my fair share of Detroit style pizza and this lived up to the real deal! It was real high quality between the dough, cheese, sauce and crispy crust! Very impressed and hope to be back!

Ordered to our hotel so can't speak of service and vibe but...the pizza was AMAZING !!!! Absolutely in my top 5 . So flavorful, perfect texture and crust and not overloaded with cheese . Amazing !

It’s pretty expensive for an alright pizza. There’s not much that stands out. It’s a pan pizza, but not even like an extraordinary one, just is one.

Sub Dominos-tier pizza. I've really lucked out on pizza in Los Angeles but having this and seeing its glowing reviews makes me think that maybe there is a good reason that so many people denigrate the pizza scene in LA. Really bad.

I might just be a little addicted to Detroit Pizza Depot. Being from the Midwest and now living in LA, finding a legit pizza that reminds me of home has been nearly impossible—until now. These guys nailed it! Hands down, my favorite pizza joint.

The crust is perfectly crispy, the cheese is just the right amount of gooey, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. Every bite takes me right back.

And it’s not just the pizza. They carry Faygo and Vernors drinks! If you’re from the Midwest, you know how special that is. The Faygo even brings back some classic ICP memories. IYKYK.

Even though they’re not close by, Uber Eats makes it possible to get my much-needed pizza fix. Trust me, it's worth it. Detroit Pizza Depot has become a delicious, comforting slice of home away from home. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re seriously missing out!
