Pops wanted to try this place for his bday after seeing so many YouTube influencers hyping this place up.Overall I think this place is like an entry level type of spot to the world of kbbq. It seems to be catered to those that don’t really know the scene all that well here and frankly with Ktown so close by it seems kind of crazy to end up here instead. The food itself; let’s start with the banchan or lack there of. You’re greeted with a sad plate of fish cakes that have a weirdly dry texture despite it being coated in sauce and a salad. Nothing else. You have to ask for kimchi, what??! In a Korean restaurant! You’re also limited to one kalbi per person and 1 ribeye per 2 people. So it’s AYCE with an asterisk. The quality of the kalbi was good and it was seasoned well. The ribeye was like the cheap ribeye you get when ordering steak and eggs at a diner. The bulgogi wasn’t marinated and seasoned properly. The pork belly was good though as was the thin sliced spicy one. The spicy chicken was solid as well. The steamed egg dish was seasoned well but had the consistency of a hard scrambled egg. The kimchi fried rice needed a harder fry on it.Service: you can tell the waiters/waitresses are new overall and didn’t seem familiar with their own rule sets. We also had to repeat orders multiple times and kept having to call people over. To their credit though, when they actually got an order in their system the meat would come out fast.Grill: they use individual butane cans. I just can’t imagine that being more cost effective or more efficient than a propane tank. At the very least it made for an annoying experience as they had to change out the butane on one grill in our party and restart ours.Ventilation: it’s partially outdoor so decent ventilation but still smelled like kbbq regardless but that’s to be expected.Overall value: for $40 you can go to a better spot in Ktown without anywhere near as many limits as they place on you here. But if you do come here you can at least get your money’s worth and be satisfied. From a standpoint of having had a good amount of kbbq in Ktown, I’d say this doesn’t compare but if you’re local and just want AYCE meat at a fair price, it’s an ok spot.

Went to this place over the weekend. Food was great. Didn't really like that they use small propane tanks to keep the fire going, when the waiter swapped out the tank it made my food taste like butane. And apparently a 10$ tip is not enough they were asking for more. ( Idk why these Asians feel entitled to a big tip for food I'm cooking my self) But other than that food was great. Probably wouldn't come back

Great spot with a great atmosphere. Menu options are of a greater variety than other places I've tried. Portion sizes are perfect because it encourages trying new items without the worry of having ordered too much. Staff is very attentive and they periodically change out the grill too so don't worry about charring your food. Music vibes were awesome and they bring out heating lamps when it starts to get chilly. Will absolutely return when I'm in DTLA again

A lot of pros, with a couple (maybe minor) cons.Pros: it's a cool spot: art, mural, TVs that got sports/Dodgers games, a patio area with hanging lights. They also have fire lamps for when it's chilly. Service is good and timely, with people checking on you and helping put meat on the grill if you want. The meat is tasty and usually doesn't need the side sauces. (I recommend the LA Galbi!) When you leave, you can take a free ice cream stick on the way out.Cons:It's $40, a little more expensive than other AYCE Kbbq places. Their menu also has fewer options than other places, especially their banchan (which unfortunately didn't taste the best). But they do include a couple of seafood option, which other places would usually charge extra for.If you're looking for a fun vibe and aren't too worried about your wallet, this is a good spot. If you want tasty banchan and a wide variety of meat selections, this is probably a second choice.

My recent dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The highlight of the evening was, undoubtedly, the Korean BBQ experience. Each table was equipped with a grill, where we cooked an array of premium meats to perfection. The marinated beef bulgogi and thinly sliced pork belly were particularly outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly tender. What truly impressed me was the attentiveness of the staff. Our server guided us through the menu, offering recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. Their knowledge and passion for Korean cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.Overall, they surpassed all expectations, delivering an unforgettable dining experience filled with flavor, warmth, and impeccable service. I can't wait to return and indulge in their delectable offerings once again.

My boyfriend and I love this place. Staff: took good care of us and very helpful and were so polite and helped us out. Irene and jay? (Sorry I forgot his name) we're awesome! I hope I get one of them again. Place: it was very welcoming and the artwork is beautiful. Place and the restroom was top notch clean. Food: absolutely amazing! I don't know which one is my fav. Meat selection was superb "a kiss to the chef" Overall: I love it and look forward to going back

Place is a GEM been here multiple times in the past and they have yet to disappoint. So many options and very wallet friendly with price of $39.99. I will be going back tonight to take my girlfriend to her first KBBQ place and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. If 10 stars was possible that's what they would be getting.

Fairly new so we wanted to try it out. Ambiance is great. Food and service are okay. The meats were not as great as other KBBQ. Our server seldom checked on us if we need to refill our water or get more meat.

They have all the things that you want at an AYCE. Fast service and good ambiance. I like that there's a fresh breeze so you can handle the meat sweats.

Went there last night after our basketball game. 7 hungry guys at an AYCE restaurant and everything was fantastic. Service was wonderful, food was tasty, and the price was good. Thank you!

Had a very strange experience here... the lady who was our server kept taking the tongs RIGHT out of my hands and cooking the food for us without even asking? She also kept coming over and telling us the food was ready when we didn't have it cooked yet how we wanted it too. I ended up getting food poisoning because of how much she was controlling how our food got cooked and not letting us handle it. She was also very rude and sarcastically asked my friend if she wanted a fork when she struggled for a second with her chopsticks. All the tables were a weird semi-outside type of situation and the place looks like a garage. I try to never leave bad reviews but I've never had such strange service and such a bad vibe my whole dinner.
