The sandwiches and plates are really good here. Big portions and I love how colorful the plate is with the pickled vegetables and hummus.

This review is for my experience with catering. Due to a mix-up at another restaurant, I had to make last-minute changes to catering plans for a small gathering I was hosting. A couple days before my event, I inquired whether Dune Atwater would be able to fulfill my order.

Leslie the catering director responded the next day and gave recommendations for the size of my event as well as dietary needs. I submitted the order as recommended and picked up the next day.

Food came out on time and they helped load my order into the car. Wow, I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation. Came with quality serving utensils, placards describing the food and ingredients/allergens. Vegetable platter was beautifully arranged with an incredible variety of pickled veggies, salads, and hummus.

Our guests were very impressed by the food presentation, and most importantly, everything was delicious. People who had never eaten at Dune were asking where we catered from. So glad things worked out and we would definitely cater with Dune again.

Honestly wouldn’t be the food so good I would never go there again . As soon as they see you come with a child they completely ignore you ( mind you I watched interact with other people ) . Didn’t even ask if everything was okay , neither did I get napkins or a goodbye . You need to check your staff because that already happend twice and always when I’m with kids ( went there alone before and it was fine )

The food wasn’t just salty, it tasted like straight salt. The reviews make it seem like the food is good. And the servers check you out and collect a tip before you get the food and then disappear.

Dune is trying to be a full service restaurant while still serving drinks in plastic cups. I paid (and tipped) right after we ordered but the server left after our food was delivered and no one ever came back to check in. So… what are customers tipping for without the actual service?

I love dune!!!! The sandwiches are amazing…it’s difficult to choose between falafel wrap, lamb and beet sandwiches. I go often

the steak was pretty tough to chew and what saved it was the sauces that came with it. My friend’s fried chicken sandwich was incredible though and if I come here next time I would order that instead.

Servers are quick and nice! Outdoor seating only which is great on a beautiful summer day.
