I love the food here, but I am strongly opposed to price gouging, which is what I feel this restaurant is doing. The falafel plate was around $14 in 2021. Now, it’s $20. I understand there’s inflation, but with inflation at around 7%, the price should go up by $1 for this item. Instead, it went up by $6. This would be understandable if more food was offered, but it’s the same amount of food. I’m just tired of restaurants complaining that people don’t eat out anymore...
i originally rated this 2 stars bc while i loved this place at first and the food was v good, it later became pretty bad (around 2022). i tried it again recently and the food is great again. editing my review to reflect the deliciousness
Exceptional Mediterranean food (even though most people just get fried chicken and fries here — no shame!). Unexpected highlight is the home made ketchup, worth getting a few extras.
Minus one star for the baklava which is $7 for a tiny, single bite piece. Photos make it look like it’s the size of a slice of pie, which is very misleading.
