Dunsmoor is a cozy, rustic, southern-inspired eatery with a moody and intimate space. The atmosphere is lively and communal, with guests sharing long tables and enjoying a warm, inviting environment. The menu features delicious dishes such as the highly-recommended baby albacore, bluefin tuna toast, and cornbread, which is often considered the best this side of the Mississippi. Large entrees like the Ribeye with grilled lemon and bone marrow are perfect for sharing, and the pork chop is regarded by many as one of the best. Guests have praised the chicken liver, quail, and pork and green chili stew, all presented interestingly and described as mouth-wateringly delicious. The greens and desserts, including apple and quince pie, chocolate cake, and stone fruit crumble, are also highly recommended. Some find the chocolate cake a bit too rich, while others appreciate the homemade strawberry nectarine ice cream. The service is excellent, with friendly and efficient staff who are attentive and quick to clean tables and deliver food. The wine selection is outstanding, featuring interesting and reasonably priced options, including a fantastic choice from the Canary Islands. However, some guests have noted that the music can be quite loud, making conversation difficult, and there is a suggestion for more consistent wine pours. Valet parking is available for a fee. Overall, Dunsmoor offers a wonderful dining experience that many look forward to revisiting, though reservations can be hard to get.
