Colorful, fun, and full of variety. Tons of candy options and a really cool atmosphere inside. Great place to stop by if you’re at The Grove.

I purchased charms lolly pop with no gum I found them to be stale chewy and broken. Seems stock are not rotated or checked for defects. Not very happy with my purchase, will not be getting anything else from them.

Walking into Dylan’s Candy Bar in LA feels like stepping into a candy lover’s dream world. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re surrounded by bright colors, playful displays, and the sweetest aroma that instantly makes you feel like a kid again. The store is beautifully laid out, with every corner offering something new to explore—whether it’s chocolates, gummies, lollipops, or their famous candy-filled novelties.

One of the best things here is the sheer variety. They’ve got both the classics you grew up with and more unique treats you can’t easily find elsewhere. The bulk candy wall is a highlight—you can fill a bag with a mix of everything you love. They also carry branded and themed candy that make for great gifts or souvenirs.

The staff are friendly and patient, even with kids running around trying to decide what to pick (which, let’s be honest, is half the fun). They’re happy to answer questions, recommend something new, or help with gift packaging. Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to a regular candy shop, but it’s really about the experience—you’re not just buying candy, you’re enjoying the atmosphere and presentation that Dylan’s is famous for.

If you’re visiting with kids, they’ll be absolutely delighted, but honestly, it’s just as much fun for adults who want to indulge their sweet tooth or feel a bit nostalgic. The store is also Instagram-worthy, with so many colorful displays and fun backdrops.

Overall, Dylan’s Candy Bar in LA is more than just a candy store—it’s an experience. Whether you’re popping in for a quick sugar fix, looking for a unique gift, or simply want to soak in the playful vibe, this place won’t disappoint. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area and want a little extra sweetness in your day!

Very, very, very poor customer service. I only gave them one star because I was forced to—otherwise, I wouldn’t even give that much.

William (the cashier/customer service rep who dealt with us) treated us very badly. He always rushed us and didn’t let us make our purchase comfortably. When we went to pay, he charged us double the price. For example, two chocolates were supposed to be $4 in total, but he charged us $4 each. If we hadn’t noticed and checked the bill carefully, we would have been overcharged without realizing it.

Honestly, I feel sorry for this store. It used to be much better before, but now the service is unacceptable.

We came with our kids expecting a fun candy experience, but instead the store felt dirty, the candy wasn’t very good, and the staff was rude. One employee even embarrassed us in front of our children for no reason. Very disappointing visit — we won’t be back.

Good place to bring kids with a wide selection of candy. Be warned prices get high rather fast if you don't watch carefully. They make great milkshakes!

The candy is disgusting. It’s stale, has a very strong unpleasant chemical taste, and is crazy overpriced. It tastes like I’m eating latex gloves. Please stay away from this garbage. The only reason it’s not getting 1 star is the store itself is very pretty, and from that alone, I can see why they get business.

The store manager, Janine, was incredibly rude. We questioned the price of an item and she gave us such a snotty response. When we insisted on an answer she told us to “get out of her store” too bad because we buy candy at Dylan’s often.

Is a good place for candy lovers. The store is colorful and fun, with an amazing variety of treats. From classic favorites to unique candies, there’s something for everyone. It’s a great spot to indulge your sweet tooth, but be prepared for a bit of a sugar overload! Perfect for a quick candy fix or a gift.

A lot of the candy is old and stale. All of the Swedish fish were old and broken. Some of the chocolate covered candy were turning white because they were old. I even told the worker and he agreed then said " yeah, sorry not too many people buy Swedish fish" Terrible.

The worker was friendly and gave us a marshmallow for free that he accidentally messed up on, then gave another proper one for our milkshake. The AC is nice in here. The worker doesn’t mind you watching him make your drinks.
