Amazing cannolis! The service was great as well. They made our cannolis on the spot fresh, it was so good. We got the cannoli with vanilla custard in it as well as the chocolate one they have which tasted like an oreo, and then the original cannoli which was also great. Really great vibe to the place as well, I will definitely be back!

I discovered these cookies at my Italian friend's wedding and instantly became a fan. We visited during Easter weekend and were shocked to see long lines in the rain. Locals were grabbing numbers as they entered and proceeding to order 6-8 dozen cookies each! We received friendly recommendations and especially enjoyed the pistachio cookies. The pistachio cannoli's, tiramisu, and white chocolate cereal cluster like things were also delicious. There are no signs indicating what each item is so we missed out on trying the bread or sandwiches, but we'll definitely try those next time. The shop seems to have manyyy repeat customers and small charming touches like the Italian paper on the counter for anyone. Can't wait for my next visit!

Love the Italian Bakery & Deli here in Eagle Rock! Super close to home, friendly staff, but it can get BUSY on the weekends!! I haven't tried a sandwich yet, but they look amazing. Great selection of traditional Italian dishes & bakery items to choose from!!

Just had the Italian sandwich and I regret not getting a large. Already thinking of when I'll be coming back for the same sandwich. When I paid for my sandwich I was regretting not getting any dessert. All the pastries and cake on display looooooked amazing. Will be back soon for another sandwich and a definitely something sweet.

not a deli sandwich girl by any means but the chicken salad sandwich i got here exceeded my expectations. tasted so fresh. i am usually a skeptic of the things that go in a deli sandwich because i do not like things like pickles and such but our sandwich maker was very friendly even though it was near closing and convinced me to get chicken sandwich. i trusted his judgement and was not disappointed. have gotten one other sandwich here, the mozzarella caprese, and even though it was just cheese tomato and bread it was so rich in flavor especially the tomato, very sweet and tangy. can tell their ingredients are high quality. will definitely be returning for the delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices for such big and filling portions.

I grew up in NY eating cellophane wrapped trays of cookies like this my entire childhood. This the ONLY place in SoCal that is authentic to Italian American sweets of this kind. The cannolis! Truly the best around.

whipped cream cakes are beautiful but filed with so much cream that they are unedible. So disappointed

Literally just stopped by here this afternoon, had a random craving for Italian rainbow cookies that came this week and luckily found this bakery nearby. It was a good amount of busy for the weekend but the line and staff were moving efficiently while being attentive to each of the customers. Right when you get in, pick a number and if you don't, they're remind you too. That detail to me is important. I got a large italian sub and it was so good and I got a few cookies. My least fave was the coconut macaron but still a great cookie and worth getting if you have a craving. But the rest, rainbow, pistachio and shortbread and raspberry filling were *chef's kiss* very tasty. Crumbly, cakey, nutty and good flavor. Definitely coming back and happy to have this spot in my back pocket to choose from when I have a craving.

We absolutely love this deli & bakery! We have never had a sandwich we didn't love. So much so that it is difficult to choose what we want whenever we go. Salami, Italian, turkey! All fantastic. My husband bought my birthday cake here as well and it was a huge hit. Not even a crumb left over. Everyone who works here is so nice too. It is no surprise they have been in business since 1949. We are happy to support them.

Believe it or not, it is extremely hard to find traditional Italian bakery items in Southern California. There are hardly any in Los Angeles County and for this reason I love this spot. It's not as good as anything from New York, or the East Coast in general. It will suffice for us Angelenos who don't have anything else. Overall the bakery and fresh items are really yummy and they have a selection of dry products as well. There's a soft pistachio cookie that they make and it's AMAZING. Also, the cannoli is great.

My husband got me a tres leches cake for my birthday last week. This was one of their most recent additions to their toolbox of cakes. The cake itself was great. The frosting was a little sweet. Because the cake is already pretty sweet, it can bear having a less sweet frosting, in my opinion. I would say that compared to other tres leches cakes around, Porto's being number one (despite their less than frosting) and Whole Foods second (better frosting than Porto's- not as sweet), this would rank up there. I might have to do another tasting side by side. :)

Best Italian sandwiches Eva! Fugghedaboutit! Been coming here for years. I always get my favorite sandwich - large capacollla, extra mayo, hold the mustard. Maddon! Bread is crisp and fresh and the deli is full of meats. Lots of imported stuff from Italy to choose from, from perishables to non perishables. Lots of snacks, too. Italians love their nibbles. The bakery is especially good for their eclaires and canollis. Lots to choose from: cookies, custards, biscotti, you name it. Gets crowded at times, especially during lunch, but just go and grab a number and wait. Oh, and parking kinda sucks, since it's a high traffic area on Colorado in the middle of Silver Rock. I mean Eagle Rock. Maddon! FYI, for the big Sons of Anarchy fans, a lot of scenes from the last season were shot inside the bakery. Go see for yourself! Fugghedaboutit!

Everything about this place is great the baked goods are amazing love the fig cookies and the sandwiches keep me coming back week after week . So why one star because the one day I needed a little help they flat out said know . I called right when they opened and said I so incredibly late for a flight can I Order 3 sandwiches for pick up in 1hr I'm going to take a sandwich to my wife in the Bay Area before she deploys (active military navy) and they said NO! 4 sandwich minimum and they hung up . Sadly my wife got nothing and she is still on a ship and I won't see her for another 5 months . Terrible service. After they hung up I figured I would have ordered the 4th sandwich but the hang up ruined the mood .
