El Cafetal is a restaurant known for its delicious Salvadoran food, especially their highly praised pupusas. The horchata and ensalada drink are also popular choices. Customers often highlight the great pupusas revueltas and loroco, as well as platano frito with beans and crema. The Pollo Guisado has received praise for its large portion and tasty flavor, making it a satisfying meal, especially for those arriving later in the day. The restaurant stands out for its friendly customer service and pleasant ambiance. Despite some comments about issues with chicken soup and flour on the pupusas, many customers confirm that the food is very delicious, and service is quick and attentive. The salad fresco also receives high praise, and the manager is noted for being super nice. The restaurant tends to get busy by 4:30 pm due to takeout orders, so arriving earlier is recommended. Overall, El Cafetal offers flavorful Salvadoran dishes with a welcoming atmosphere.
